Spell Lists not filtered by class in 5e Compendium

Following a link supposed to provide 5e Bard spells: https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Spells%20List?sort=Level&Classes[]=Bard#content I get a list of spells unfiltered by class. The same happens for the other classes. I had hoped to use Roll20 to run a new 5e campaign, but my players will be unable to identify or select their spells. What workaround will provide a class-filtered spell list to my casters?
When you select "Spells" , use "Filter Results" below search window. Same for monsters, items, etc..

I've tried this, but it won't stick. The search builds an appropriate URL including "sort" and "class" criteria, but following the URL doesn't apply the correct filters. I'm using Chrome, latest version. Also tried Brave, which usually works well with Roll20. It definitely seems like a bug in the site, and a critical one. The paper PHB provides a list of spells for each class, but it seems the Compendium won't.

I don't think the settings are actually saved in the url, even though it looks like they are. I do have to select "bard" in the filter field.

I really wish it would work as advertised. I have several new players (new to RPGs, 5e, and Roll20). The less complex I can make the experience for them, the better. I wonder if all the url-wonkery represents an abandoned — or future — feature.

Where did you get the link, or where was there documentation that advertised such a link should work? That should be included in a report.

On this page within the Compendium https://roll20.net/compendium/dnd5e/Spells#h-Spells there is a link called " Bard Spells by Level " which links to a level sorted list of spells, but it's not filtered by class. I haven't cross checked, but it looks like it's probably every spell in the PHB (and XGE). It looks like all the "Class by Level" links on that page deliver the same result, even though they do produce unique URLs. The user can scroll upward — if they know to — and find a place to set the search parameters again and generate a list. My particular concern is that I have brand-new caster players. Every piece of friction and bit of misinformation is a little irritant that makes VTT seem more and more like homework. Whenever I have to correct the Compendium I fear it makes them feel like the whole thing is very complicated. Keith, is there somewhere other than the forums I should be reporting this bug?

You can report it to team@roll20.net. The best thread to report to would be Wizards of the Coast Bug Report Megathread , which handles general 5e Compendium issues. I believe it or similar reports have been made in the past. So you would more than likely be adding your voice to the crowd than expecting any immediate resolution. But every voice helps.
