How do I add an item found as treasure from a module I bought on roll20 to a players character sheet?

I am running POTA and I'm trying to find out how to add or assign items picked up in treasure. I see the item in my notes, but I don't know how to give/assign them to a character.

Hi! Try to drag and drop the item from the Compendium to the character sheet. A message should read "Accepting drop from Compendium" and upon releasing the left mouse button, the message should disappear and the item added to the inventory. If the item is not in the Compendium, you will have to write a macro to simulate it.

Alternatively, most items in a module are available as handouts. If this is a case, open the handout and assign permissions to that character, also putting their name in the field that indicates the handout is to appear in their journal tab. They now have access to the journal. More info here:  Managing Magic Items With Handouts If the item is a piece of equipment, you can have them manually add the info to their equipment list. For custom stuff like this, there is no drag and drop solution.
