This is a joint post for Jonas and Lilly, two tabletop players searching for a game outside of our current friend-groups where we can play together. Looking forward to the possibility of making some new friends and working with the GM and fellow players to make an awesome story - that is not in D&D. (Not knocking the system, just looking for something different.) We’re available 3 days out of the week ( Wednesday, Thursday and Friday ) for evenings in CET/GMT+2. --------------------------------------------- GENERAL INFORMATION What We’re Looking For : We're open and hoping to try out new systems as well as anything else we've played before that’s not D&D! (Please see Experience for what we have played.) Time Zone / Availability: Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays after 6:30pm (GMT+2) / 11:30am (CST/GMT +5) Experience: Jonas (4-5 years) and Lilly (6 years) Between the two of us, we have experience in the following systems... Genesys / Star Wars: Edge of the Empire World of Darkness (VTM, Werewolf) Warhammer Fantasy Zweihander Dungeon Crawl Classic Godbound Masks: Year One (And of course) D&D 5e What We Like: Engaging Roleplay - Getting to explore your character's personality/goals and those of NPC's and other players Party Co-Operation - There’s nothing better than when everyone feels included and useful. What We Dislike: Power-Gaming - When being "better than" overrides fun. Player vs DM - There should be mutual respect for anyone at the table. 18+ Mature-Friendly: Of course! But with proper discussion of expectations beforehand and no explicit sexual roleplay or content. Pay To Play: Not for us at this time. --- A LITTLE ABOUT US Jonas: 23 year old male from Denmark. I first got introduced to tabletops through D&D 5e. My first campaign was 4-5 years ago, lasted a year and was fairly combat heavy. Afterwards I joined up with a different group under the same DM, which was much more into roleplay and I loved it, although I still enjoy combat when it’s called for. (We even streamed this campaign, so if you speak Danish there’s a couple hundred hours of Vods you could watch if you would want.) Since then I've almost always been in long term campaigns and, wanting to test out my knowledge of the system, I even tried running my own for a couple of months. Otherwise, as a player, I’ve tried out a bunch of different systems, some only in one-shots (Silent Legions, MASKS) and others in longer campaigns (Godbound, Star Wars: Edge of the Empire). Currently playing two different D&D 5e games, one on Tuesdays and one on Saturdays. Lilly: 23 year old female from the US After watching a D&D Live-Play and looking up Roll20 after realizing they used it for rolls/maps, I’ve enjoyed TTRPGs for 6 years as a player, experienced a few different groups and a gotten a taste of a number of different systems (favorites being Genesys, VTM, Warhammer Fantasy and Star Wars: EoTE.) While I love Sci-fi and Dark Fantasy settings, I enjoy more grounded play that encourages failing forward and sensible roleplay over constant DC checks.
