LFG Listing: https://app.roll20.net/campaigns/details/7033847/2-dms-2-alternating-campaigns The Plan Hey, I love DMing D&D, but also love playing and want to do both with the same eager crew of players - so I'm looking for another DM who wants to alternate DMing their own campaign with mine each week, along with 3-4 eager players to play in both sessions. 12pm to 7pm GMT is the best range for me (that's 8am - 3PM Central US time). Our Campaign I'm going to start with a short 5E module (possibly LMOP if it nobody in the group has played it, otherwise I have more in pdf form) before offshooting into whatever adventure of my own I come up with. I've DMed about 15 games of 4E and 5E (though have only started 5E recently) and run pretty comedic and sometimes morbidly dark games as I feel like that style is easier to write adventures for. Player Requirements Player's should probably be in their 20s - this isn't a rule but I feel we should all be around the same age group. I also don't mind if you're new, but I do expect you to read the Player's Handbook section for your class before playing. I also want the kind of players that enjoy light to moderate roleplay and are passionate about their characters - they don't need to be incredible, just more than statblocks who fight things. 2nd DM Requirements I don't have any requirements for the DM, though it may be better if you're around the same experience level as me as you may find my inexperience with 5E frustrating at first (I'm just coming off a series of only-4E games). Alt DM Applications Just give us a brief overview of the style of game you want to run. Player Applications Give me a general overview of you and your character. 1. Tell us a little about yourself and what you're looking for in a D&D game. 2. Who is your character and what do they want out of life? 3. What quirks or personality traits do they have?
Hello! 1. i'm looking to play a steady game or will play one-shots. I've been playing for 3 years now, and have DM'd alot. with all this time, i'm looking to play and have fun. 2. I will play anything, I've been really curious about playing a monk. i'll roll up a character the group needs, but mostly like just coming up with any character. 3. any, i'm a big fan of lovecraft, so i try and make my characters lovecrafty somehow, which works great with arlocks.

I should make it clear I'm on the GMT timezone, just in case it turns out we aren't able to play. Also, the DM doesn't also have to make a player application (unless you want to), as when we discuss our games we can talk about what kind of characters would fit in each.
Sounds cool l! I haven't played LMOP so I'm fine with that but really I'm good with whatever
I am happy to Co-GM if you want to play. My schedule is pretty chaotic <grin> but I can make most days between 2-5 or so, work. I can also make almost any evening after 7 work as well as long as we plan it in advance. It would probably be better if we start with a short 2-3 session campaign just to get everyone used to showing up on time, and having that day blocked off. It doesn't matter what we run, but establishing a regular party is really more about getting the right day and time, than it is about getting content that everyone likes. The content and Gel will develop, as people become regular participants. Let me know. I have run the majority of LMoP 3x already, I have also run a small piece of Descent into Avernus, and Dragon of Ice Spire Peak, from the Essentials kit, both in TT and VTT format on roll20.
A Co-GM situation would be perfect for me as well. I would not mind talking with either of you about joining forces.
I would love to be involved in this, if I can! I'd prefer not to start GM'ing right away, but I'd be happy to a little bit further down the line. I love to GM actually, I have just never used Roll20 before and would like to play for a while to get used to how the system works. And to Michael earlier in the thread, I'm also a massive Lovecraft fan. I can play any day, any time. :)

1. I've played a lot of D&D and am interested in joining this. I am a little younger then what you asked for (17) however I enjoy serious role play and prefer it over combat. I'd enjoy a solid and long running campaign instead of lots of one shots but i'm OK with playing in one shots I have a slight chaotic play style but I will tone it down if you don't want that. I don't play edgy characters usually. 2. I have a character prepared, a noble man named "Zacovich". He's a hexblade warlock (I'd like to discuss the ability to use a bow instead of a blade) who is looking to get stronger. 3. He speaks with a Russian accent, hates alcohol and has a soft spot for cats. Has a neat dress style and enjoys the company of others.
Hi there, I’m a perma DM who is looking for a chance to be a decent character. Give me a general overview of you and your character. 1. My name is Duncan and I’ ve been looking for a party that is willing to have in character conversations as well as one that stays relatively on task. 2. Myral is a quiet woman with a large shield and even more willpower. A Paladin or Cleric (depending on party) is determined to redeem herself in the eyes of her God. 3. Where Myral has been chasing her redemption for so long, she’s kind of forgotten how to play with others. She was never really a people person. Good will aside, she's just not used to these interactions.
Hi, I'm 19, and a bit new to dnd and roll20 but I'm ready to learn. I've been sitting on a character for awhile (if 2 days can qualify as awhile). She's a elf ranger (or tabaxi if the world has them) I haven't settled on a backstory yet, but I'm thinking she wanders the wilderness, stopping monsters and people from disturbing the environment. That being said, she's not good with people, and a bit distrustful of them as well. She tends to lump the denizens of civilization into one destructive group. She prefers the company of animals, and is quiet and awkward around most people, though a close party may bring her out of her shell.
