LF Player, Pathfinder 8:30Est Tuesdays

Our group is currently looking for one more player to join us. We are pretty laid back and are looking for a player with a similar attitude. We are fine with new players as well but at least understand how your character works. The campaign is set in Thuvia which is a desert region and the pc's are far from civilization. Your character does not need to be from there though. We are 4 sessions into it so the the players are currently level 2. Requirements are: A good working mic, skype, mature, and willing to learn. Here are a list of questions that you can message me if you are interested. 1. Tell me about yourself. What is your ideal gaming group, how did you get into table top etc. 2. What are you looking to play as, race/class. 3. A short background of your character. 4. Favourite Movies, Books, Games and why. 5. What people in history interest you. 6. Your skype ID Thanks
I am mature, have skype and a decent microphone (I haven't gotten any complaints in previous groups or skype calls) and am definitely willing to learn. I don't have any pathfinder experience, but I've played 3.5e and I'm a fast learner. The one hiccup I have is that my family all eats together each night, and 8:30 EST is 5:30 for me, if me being 1-2 hours late most weeks won't be an issue. 1. I'm a laid-back, feel good guy. I have a really stupid sense of humor and I'm capable of goofing off, but know when to be serious. My ideal gaming group would be full of relaxed, fun people who know how to work cooperatively and strategically. I got into table top gaming a few weeks ago with a dnd 3.5 group, and have been looking for more because DND has interested me for years but I never got into it. 2. I'm absolutely open to anything race/class-wise. As far as other RPGs go, I like to play as either tanks, high damage (melee, usually), or aq mixture of both. 3. Since I'm completely open to anything, I can adjust to whatever the group needs. Once my character is created, given 5 minutes, I can make a background story. 4. My favorite movies are Scott Pilgrim, Frozen, Harry Potter, and How to Train Your Dragon. My favorite books are Eragon, Harry Potter, and the Sword of Truth series. My favorite games are Smite, Minecraft, Terraria, and Skyrim. I love fantasy and mythology. 5. History has never really interested me, except in fantasy worlds, oddly. 6. kobrahawk1210
1. In my 20's; I work in tourism so I've got a lot of free time weekdays so time of day or length of sessions wont make me the arrive late or go to bed early guy. I like a group that can balance some friendly off-topic/OOC chat while still pushing further into the story of the characters and not slowing down combat to a crawl with noise. I got into table top gaming when my high school civics teacher invited me to his after-school friday games, I still have my first charsheet, a Dwarf Barbarian by the name of Ulfsaar. 2. I love playing beast/mythical races especially because of the unique limitations and strengths they are given in pathfinder, but in worlds where those people don't "fit" I usually stick to elves for my spellcasters and dwarves for my fighters. As far as classes go I love archetypes and have been wanting to play a Flowing Monk, Spellslinger Wizard (If appropriate), or a Sword of Valor Paladin 3. I'd have to flesh it out more after I stick to a class but if permitted the Spellslinger sounds like it would have quite and Ennio Morricone feel to him in your world's desert wastes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpZjvbSC9_M 4. A Song of Ice and Fire, I read the first novel when I was barely older than Bran Stark and it really stuck with me all these years, can't wait for the next books that are never coming out. Dresden Files always gets an honorable mention from me as well. Snarky wizard blowing up vampires, riding zombie T-Rex, and shooting at other wizards with a .38 magnum for over a dozen great pulp noir novels. Dota 2 is what I spend most of my off hours playing these days and damned that game is addictively good. Good movies usually catch me off guard because I don't really follow movie releases and tend to end up watching most on accident or with friends, the funniest movie I've ever seen is Death to Smoochy, and the best is La vita è bella 5. If I could meet 2 people who ever lived they would be JFK and Carl Sagan. 6. MeLlamoMiguel
1. Tell me about yourself. What is your ideal gaming group, how did you get into table top etc. -I'm an easy going guy, just turned 30. I enjoy gaming whenever I can find the time. My ideal gaming group would be reliable and consistent but understanding enough to realize that "real life happens". I enjoy a game where the players know how to joke and have fun but be serious when called for. I started playing tabletop as a child with RIFTS and some White Wolf, particularly Exalted, but more recently have been playing mostly Pathfinder Society. PFS has been fun and reliable, it effectively scratches the itch so to speak but it doesn't always feel as free and open as a homebrewed game might. 2. What are you looking to play as, race/class. -I like my hybrid classes typically but I can get behind most races and classes. Magus or Bard are probably my favorite pathfinder classes. As far as races go, I typically stick to humans, elves, or half elves. 3. A short background of your character. -I typically like to flesh out background once I have a better feeling for what I'm playing and what the GM's setting is and what the other players are rolling with. 4. Favourite Movies, Books, Games and why. -Huge Conan fan... love the Dune books. I like plenty of movies, Children of Men, StarWars, Lord of the Rings, most Marvel and DC movies, Kill Bill and other Tarantino flicks. Games: I'm a fan of Demon's Souls/Dark Souls games. I play tons of board games, started with HeroQuest, Warhammer Quest, Descent: Journey's into the Dark. And then finally tabletop games, Exalted has probably been my all time favorite tabletop experience, but I always enjoy a classic high fantasy adventure game as well. 5. What people in history interest you. -Da Vinci would be up there, he always struck me as having a very fascinating mind. 6. Your skype ID Tazar.Yoot
