Is there a reveal/hide areas or polygons option in Updated Dynamic Lighting

I'm playing around with Updated Dynamic Lighting. I want to be able to drag a character around to see if there are any light leaks in my walls (e.g. at joints where a door meets a wall). But when I'm done, I then want to hide that area from the character again. It seems the only way to do that is to reset the entire map, when I try hide areas, I get a pop-up asking me if I want to enable Fog of War or Advanced Fog of War. But I assume that, since those are Legacy DL features and the two systems don't share visibility data, that won't work. Is there now, or will there be, a localized hide/reveal feature for UDL?

It uses the same clear revealed button in the toolbar under the reveal tool.
Thanks, whenever I hit that it asks me if I want to turn on Fog of War or Advanced Fog of War, so I assumed it only worked with the legacy system. I guess I should have just played around with it.
