Looking for Players for Eclipse Phase Campaign

Click here to visit the campaign We have been informed that a businessman, alias Octavio Mengst, from the Inner system Planetary Consortium is dealing with a Nine Lives operative. They will be meeting on Remembrance in less than a few days. We have your bodies ready for receiving your souls via egocast. This is a data extraction; get in, get the data unnoticed, and get out. We need the encryption codes to Octavio's VPN, as it is likely to hold a cache of data on whatever xthreats his recent deals may involve. Be careful, as this area of town is unforgiving, yet wont take kindly to any suspicious behavior, so you won't be going in too hot. It is likely that Octavio has hidden security, along with local authorities waiting to bust another street thug, you know, the typical crowd here. So keep it under wraps. Lets try to avoid the need for weapons fire and conflict with law enforcement. Okay, suit up. Eclipse Phase is a Transhuman, Post Apocalyptic Game of Conspiracy and Horror. This campaign is taking place in an O'Neil Cylinder Habitat (the oldest and largest, in fact) called Remembrance. Remembrance is about 70 Kilometers long, dense, overpopulated, and towered by the elite and their "skyscrapers". The local government, the Lunar Lagrange Alliance are conservatives bent on memes of retaking Earth from The Fall, the event that shattered transhumanity, forcing our species into nomadic exile from our homeworld. This campaign will be beginner friendly, as I hope to bring more awareness into this amazing game and setting. I will be accepting Character Sheets generated with the Transhuman Players Guide or Core Rulebook. Your choice of starting morph will be role played into the morphs your characters will egocast into. Please keep in mind that starting gear will, however, be extremely limited as you are trying to fit in with the crowd (Octavio and the Nine Lives affiliate are very cautious about anyone who stands out). I do not like to make tons of limits for you, as I am against railroading. Feel free to choose whatever morph you like, and skillsets, etc. However, there may be penalties for certain choices (such as walking into the bar with Reaper morph, or showing up as an obvious AGI or Anarchist). I love Eclipse Phase to death. It has been a pleasure to GM it and I am always looking for a chance to play it. Can you tell me which day (days?) of the week you were thinking of running the game? I'd love to join but I have narrow windows of availability.

Hello! I will be open for scheduling from Monday - Friday, 4 - 11pm. I'm currently in MST, so I believe that may be flexible enough. If it isn't, and small adjustments are needed, I would prefer to extend later as opposed to earlier times. The official start date will be dependent on our schedules, and when I receive everyone's character sheets. I look forward to running this :)

I'm available for that time slot (and later) on tuesdays and thursdays. If you can fit me in, I'll start working on a character sheet this weekend.

OP : Original Post I've messaged you my skype details, too. I like for players to choose their character concepts with as little intervention as possible. This is so that I can shape the campaign around the variety of PC types to add diversity to the campaign. I feel it also allows players to participate in building the game plot, events, and roleplay before stepping a foot IC. However, here are some ideas that are essential for the core mission plot. The rest, I leave to you. - Someone with hacking skills (infosec, interfacing, hacking software; knowledge in programming, computers, etc). - Someone with proficient people skills; a "face". - Someone who can be a smuggler, with knowledge of the habitat, the ins and outs, handling security and identification, etc.

Ohhhh boy, I'd like to jump in on this as well. I've been scouring this site for something sci-fi, and Eclipse Phase pretty much fills that criteria If there's still room, I'll bust open the handbook and start creating a character

Ok awesome. If everyone in here, as of now, can participate, that puts us at 5 (6, someone currently outside of roll20 is interested and may join). If everyone here can post availability and sort out a common time, we can start locking people in. I think 5-6 PCs is a good cap for this campaign. TehGuy, would be happy to have you.

Ok it appears that Saturday after 11PM MST is a common time frame between a few prospects so lets shoot for that. There a few who haven't really said much about their schedules so this may knock us down on the player count, but hopefully not.

Hi, I found the campaign through the Looking for group function but it seems like the time will be discussed here so... 11pm MST is a bit inconvenient for me so I'd prefer if we started a little bit later (even half an hour would help) but I'll go with it if we can't. That said I have a problem with Saturday specifically since it clashed with my other campaign. Every other day would be good for me. Other than that the best match with the MST timezone would be during the afternoon(2pm to 7pm) but I don't know if that's available for you guys.

Starting on Saturdays 11pm MST is fine with me.

Hey everyone. First, I must apologize for the long delay. I've recently relocated and found myself engaged by nanoswarms that heavily induced histamine production in my bloodstream. Symptoms were similar to influenza. ( :P ). I've recently recovered well enough to return to Firewall (lol, but seriously >.<) Now 100% OOC: I want to get a game running by this coming weekend. I won't have time to play in july. I'm rewriting the campaign starting tonight. Please let me know if you're still interested. I'll fix the link, and repost the campaign. I have a lot to do, and will keep everyone posted.

Thanks! It will have to go on hiatus during July. Glad you're still in. Hopefully we can get, at the very least, 2 more PCs to join and work with the late (MST) schedule.

Slots are currently open. Lets make Saturday the deadline for Character Sheets. If everyone gets them in early enough, we can probably roll out as soon as Sunday or Monday. As I won't be available in July, I'd like to squeeze multiple games in the next week to get things started before the hiatus. I'll be available again in August. Ideally I'd like to squeeze as many sessions possible between the 23rd through the 27th. If we can't get that many, or some of you can't be available for some of them, no worries. I understand some of you have already submitted a sheet via skype or PM. Bear with me, as I've been very busy, I may fail to address some of you. Please remind me if you have, and are still available for the scheduled times.

Is it a good idea to have a week of games and then go on a month long break? Isn't starting after you return better?

The thought has crossed my mind. Maybe not a week long of games, but a week long availability on my part. If starting next week won't work, then it will have to be after I'm back.
