Deathwatch GM Looking for Players

System - Fantasy Flight Deathwatch Time - Whatever time is good for everyone once the group comes together Who - Im the GM running the game Hi all. Im currently in the process of learning the Rolld20 program and so far everything is awesome. Did one session so far with the only current player in the group. Would like to get some more people into the game. The game will be halo inspired and ill be using alot of other Fantasy Flight Warhammer 40k stuff along with the game since its all compatable with each other. Well basically how im doing it via a Halo Inspired game is that youll all be space marines but instead of from a chapter, youll have an Origin Path from Rogue Trader and Background Events. So your characters will be kidnapped by the inquisition in the same way that the spartans were kidnapped.

Interesting premise, never played Deathwatch but I've sunk my teeth into a lot of Rogue Trader, some Dark Hersey and a little bit of Only War and Black Crusade, so it shouldn't be hard to acclimate. I'm in, depending on the time (generally available any time Saturday/Sunday) and from 2ish CST to 9. Think that's GMT ummm, -6? +6? Never can get that bit right.

I am a big fan of the Wh40k setting (though rogue trader is by far my favorite) and i rather like the idea of a space-marine inquisition mash-up. I mean... neither organization is exactly subtle, but the space marines have a lot more genetic modifications going on that determine their behaviors, right? so i mean, the Marines are bread to tackle things head-on, and follow orders. I think it could be both dramatically epic, and hysterical, just the way wh40k should be. If you still have open slots i'be be interested in chatting. Late 20s, EST

I'd love to give it a go, currently only experienced with the Pathfinder system, though I've looked briefly in to Warhammer Fantasy and Dark Heresy. Currently reading a large amount of the Warhammer 40k books and loving them. I'm 20 years old, from the UK.

I'm a fan of the WH40k series. I've painted some models, but never played the wargame. Never played the RPGs. Grew up with Battle Masters. Was introduced to the books in Iraq war. Read through all the Omnibuses that I could find. I love DoW, DoW2, and Space Marine. Even bought and played Fire Warrior for the PS2. Looking to play Eternal Crusade when it releases (hopefully I'll have enough money to buy the founders pack when it releases!). Very interested in playing anything WH40k. I'm late night EST. 8/9pm to 1am or so. No set days. 33, mic, new to R20

Didnt realize id have so much of an interest in playing a Deathwatch game. I can have a nice round team with this number though i dont know how i can handle this amount of people. So as far as it stands now, no more slots are open at this time since ive got more then enough players. Ill PM all the ones that responded here with the details for the game. Thanks all
