NPC HP not rolling or changing on the sheet

Hi all, I looked over the forums looking for an answer to this, but no luck so far. I'm using the Roll20 Companion for ogl 5e, and I selected a Goblin and typed the !npchp Goblin, but so far I'm getting nothing.  The HP isn't changing, no error messages or anything. What am I doing wrong?
Can you give us a bit more information; What API are you using? If you are trying to roll NPC hit points use Monster Hit Dice as it works without a problem.  The creatures will automatically roll random HP according to their formula, and you can change existing ones on your current games with the !mhd command while they are selected. Hope that helps!!
Christopher, I'm using the 5th Edition OGL by Roll20 Companion for this.  It says this in the list of API commands: !npchp  character name - Rolls NPC hit point totals using their formula and updates the token bar. If no character name is provided it will roll the selected tokens. Try as I might, I'm struggling to get that command to work for any of my NPC's.   I'll look at the Monster Hit Dice API, as that sounds like it will do what I want it to do. Thanks :)
No worries, I will play with the 5e Companion API tomorrow and see if I can figure out why that one is causing your problems..gotta run, a level 17 wife is looking at me cross-eyed, so I need to find some way of convincing her I am friendly!! :D

I can't make it work either. If you are familiar with javascript, you might be able to piece out why it doesn't work by examining the code, here .
Keithcurtis, I'm not good at coding at all.  Monster Hit Dice works exactly as I need it to though, so I'll use that. I do use the other parts of the Companion script though and those work perfectly.
Sublime. Glad the MHD took care of the issue!
