Game Details - Weekly sessions every Saturday at 9am EDT / 1pm UDC - Sessions last for 4 hours. - Payment: $15 per session via PayPal. Payment must be made prior to the start of each session. - Level Range: 1 - 15 - Group Size: 4-6 Players - Combat/Role Play Balance: Role playing in heavily encouraged! "Murder hobo" type play is heavily discouraged. That is not to say that combat is not a very fun and important aspect of the game. - You will be required to use Discord for voice chat and Roll20 for sessions. I encourage the use of D&D Beyond character sheets with the Beyond20 extension. Why pay for a game? For those of you still on the fence about paying for a game, I offer the following benefits: - The Dungeon Master is obligated to show up and give their best. - The Players are obligated to show up and not let their money go to waste. - The competition for spaces in free games is very high. There are far more players than available games. - Accepting payment allows me to dedicate myself full time. This ensures that all preparation is done and allows me to be readily available for out of session contact. - Material costs are covered by your payment. Buying resources to use in games is covered by the DM and access to all of D&D Beyond content is available to you via campaign sharing. I personally own all the source material on dndbeyond.com Character Creation Any official source book is permitted for use. Any unearthed arcana content must be approved before use. Homebrew content is generally not allowed. Rare exceptions to this may be approved. Evil characters are generally not allowed. If you wish to play an evil character, the character's story and motivations must first be discussed and cleared with me. You may either use the standard array or point buy to generate your stats. No races that have a constant flying speed (Aarakocra, Winged Tiefling, etc.). Backstory: Having a backstory is encouraged but not mandatory. If write one, I will do my best to incorporate it into the main story. I find the that players do a better job of role playing when they have more ties to the setting/story. Equipment: You may take the standard equipment for you class and background. You can spend the gold granted by your background on equipment durring character creation.
