I was unable to find where I read it because it was mentioned in another similar discussion and I just couldn't remember which one. Perhaps someone can chime in? I think what was said though, was that Roll20 had changed things so that only the active map was being loaded. Which would make sense since you sometimes have to wait for everything to load when switching maps and that would not be the case if you loaded on launch of campaign. I remember reading about that was being worked on but I have not seen anything about it being implemented yet. As far as I know, the general recommendation still stands as one table per module to reduce any resource load.
