Restrict Movement to Token Speed?

Hi All! I'm a new roll20 member and I'm running a game for my 10yo and a few of her friends. I am trying out dynamic lighting, and it is great. Is there a way to restrict a token's movement to its speed? For example, is there a way to have a dwarf character only be able to move 5 squares per turn (25 ft)? Since I'm running this with kids, I'm worried that they'll just move their token way up into the dungeon so it is revealed, and that won't be fun for anyone. Of course, I'll explain this to them, but as they're all still learning the site, I know it is bound to happen. I was thinking of having them ping where they'd like their character to move and then I can move their token. That could potentially be a work around for the time being, if this feature isn't available. If anyone else has any suggestions, I'd greatly appreciate it! TY

Not without the API (Pro Subscriber Perk) and even then it's complicated.
There are a few ways around that. First you could block players from actually moving the token. To do that you can change the setting in the game by not giving any of them permission on the tokens and only allowing them to see through the token. I will admit this is kind of a buzzkill option. The second option is to tick the "Restrict Movement" option on the page settings on a given map and then set the walls so they don't phase through anything and set "doors" between areas and remove them once they have finished them. The third option is to simply use Fog of War and reveal the areas as they progress. Option two and three do nothing to prevent them from running around like crazy in the rooms they are in, though.

That would be way too complicated, considering that there are many options to alter a character's speed and that the character sheet has no means to keep track of that. Also, characters might have different speeds available at the same time, such as 30ft walking and 50ft flying. Isn't there an option to update dynamic lighting only when the player drops their token, so that you as the DM can see where they actually went, making any attempts to peek into the dungeon obvious?
