Monster Manual Tokens & Sheets

Hi there, I bought the monster manual to use for a game. When I drag a monster token over to the map, I notice the following unpleasant behaviors: 1. The token art is missing: Instead, there's a generic icon that roughly represents a person (circle for a head and rounded body underneath) 2. The character sheet pops up the first time I drag that monster type over. But thereafter, whenever I click on the monster, all I see is the Roll20 compendium. I can never get the character sheet back for rolling. What am I doing wrong?

The person profile image sounds like a bug. That's the default avatar image on newly created Characters. Does it do that for all monsters you're dragging out?  Try Beholder, I know for certain that has an image.  Probably you are still on the Compendium tab when you click it. Dragging a monster into the game will create a character in the Journal tab. Try switching to that tab and clicking the Character.
No, that's it! Thank you. First time I tried this and it makes sense that it would add to the handouts section, but I didn't think to check there. I kept reclicking it from the compendium tab. Sort of strange that I have to drag it from the compendium and then redrag it from the now-added character sheet. But in the scheme of things, no big deal. Thanks for your help!

Yeah, I think that the double drag thing is probably a bug.  I'll try to replicate it and then pass it on to the Devs.

Hmm.. I'm not having that issue. Here's a few questions: Which creature are you dragging out? Do you have any errors in your Javascript Console?  Which browser and OS are you using?  Have tried restarting the browser?  A different browser?
Giant Spider is the one I'm using. I did bandit as a test and the same behavior occurred. I'm using Chrome. I didn't think to check the console, but I've since reloaded trying to get it to work, before I read your previous response. -- Again, it works for me with the two-step process. -- I just tried the beholder and same -- for me. Looked at console and this: "No default token, falling back to generic token"
