newer player looking for d&d 3.5 or 4e

im kind of new to d&d and roll20 so i will not know all that much but i am willing to learn under a gm im 20 and have skype and vent if that helps :)

Yeah. Don't go for 4.0. I've run a few games. It's alright, but every class has a healing skill. It's like, everyone has very few downsides. You would be better Suited for Pathfinder or 3.5. 3.5 is Clunky, but allows for DM's to rewrite things completely. It makes things easier and honestly, it's easy to DM. While Pathfinder allows for more solid rules for the Player and DM to use. It doesn't offer as much wiggle room with it, but it's a better written system. I know tons of people like 4.0, and it's alright. But I would really suggest trying Pathfinder first. As it is a fair middle ground.
