Imaging how great a png-based mask import would be!

I often use simple black and white dungeon-layouts like this: If I wish to use light and sight effects, I have to make every single line by my own hands. This takes a ton of time and isnt really precise (blue lines). But it is easy possible to get the contour of such a map and generate a png out of this contour which u can easily lay above ur map (yellow lines). This would work on colored maps too! At the moment roll20 cant use such a png to generate the walls automatically. :-/ But this wonderful feature would be really easy to use and can safe you tons of time! Give me your upvote! Support me for an improved usability of the lighning-feature. :-)

This has been posted a few times, I think this is a +10 idea but it keeps slipping off the front page of the forums. As per the dynamic lighting tips page, keeping the DL geometry as simple as possible is necessary to reduce the calculations required - I fear letting people import a bitmap mask, and calculating per-pixel dynamic lighting, would result in older PCs and laptops committing suicide. Maybe vector art would have a chance?
I dont know if a vector art would solve this problem. People with old hardware could use simple geometries. Sooner or later the average hardware power will increase and more and more user could take a profit from this function. :-)
