[LFP][5e][Discord] Horde of the Dragon Queen looking 1-2 more players

The Cult of the Dragon has been active in Faerûn for centuries. It has focused on making undead dragons to fulfil a prophecy most of that time, but that’s changing. Tyranny of Dragons is set in the Forgotten Realms on Faerûn’s western shore—the Sword Coast. A thin strip of civilisation stretches down this coast, where widely spaced cities are arranged like beads on a string. Your characters will be travelling to the town of Greenest, which is southeast from Baldur’s Gate. I've been a player of D&D for a while now, but this will be my first time as a DM. I am looking for 1-2 more players to fill out a 3/4 player roster. We will be playing weekly (hopefully), with a day yet to be decided upon. Current players are between EDT and BTS time zone and are looking at playing 4hr sessions. Discord will be used for voice chat and other matters, and have a server already set up.  If you are interested in playing please reply to this post or PM me with the following information: Name you to prefer to be called: Timezone: D&D Experience: Expectations: Tell me about a recent character of yours.
Name you to prefer to be called: Belac Timezone: CST D&D Experience: Lots of 3.x back in the day, 2 long-running 5e campaigns now Expectations: Group problem-solving, roleplay, and chances for dice to do funny things Tell me about a recent character of yours: Aeziar, Half-Elf Rogue/Paladin.  Born on the mean streets, his Elf father was the local money-launderer and his Human mother had her own Fantine-esque backstory.  Both died when he was young, and he learned to fight protecting his younger Human half-siblings.  He graduated from that to thuggery and then assassination, caring little who he beat up or killed or why.  But eventually he got a job that shocked even his dull conscience.  He was to infiltrate a group of tenants demanding justice from their landlords, and eliminate their leader.  Having done so, and blamed an unknown assassin to the face of the grieving widow and children, he left in a crisis of conscience.  He returned to his employers and killed them, only to be captured by the adventurers  who had been trying to stop him.  They believed his change of heart, and one of them, a member of a loose organization of do-gooders called the Ray of Hope, undertook to train him.   He swore some oaths to gods he only dimly believed in at first, receiving powers he has slowly come to understand, and was sent into the world to right wrongs like those he had been used to committing.  By now he has done far more good than he had ever done evil, but still believes himself unredeemed and possibly unredeemable.
Name you to prefer to be called: Dee, or DC3 Timezone: CST D&D Experience: I've been playing 5e for about 4 years at this point, and have been a player for most of them. I currently am running my first campaign as a DM Expectations: To make some new friends or acquaintances, and enjoy a gelling with a group. Slight preference for roleplay over combat, but enjoy both quite a bit.  Tell me about a recent character of yours: Hmm, a somewhat recent character of mine was King, the bard. He was a lizardfolk who unlike many of his peers, sought to go out into the world and learn more about it, interact and gain more worldly experience. He carried with him his skills with both sword and magic, using both to accomplish his tasks. He was seen as quirky in his naming conventions, and strange in some of his habits, but his charismatic nature and laid back attitude were enough to more than tolerate him for most. He found himself swept up with a group of adventurers who were in town at the same time as himself, looking for jobs to gain some coin, and after it was finished, decided he would travel with them. Sadly, the campaign had to be halted soon afterwards, and I did not get to play him any more.
Name: Tabitha or taby  timezone est. I can play anynight starting at 9pm.  Experience. 2 years of dnd5e and more of RP via different games.  Expectations. A friendly group that values teamwork over being the brooding egdelprd Recent character. Theyden,  A revised ranger beast master that has traveled from a different world to the one he is currently in, a deeply disturbed man with a high value of friends. Who has even built a guild house of mercenaries. He was also a half elf eladren and his animal companion is a valenor hound. Aptly named Valen.
Name you to prefer to be called:  Jared or Jcoc Timezone: KST (Korean Standard Time). I am stationed in Korea for the Army and I can easily play, I would just have to know times and match it up with work schedule.  D&D Experience: I've been playing DnD on and Off for almost 13 years now, Started in 3.5, dabbled in 4th and now have been playing 5th since it came out. I recently started my first campaign as being DM. Expectations: A friendly group but also a nice change of scenery playing with different players.    Tell me about a recent character of yours: Lizardfolk Druid, who used to be a sailor and is avenge the death of his crew.  Before him was a Half-Orc Barbarian who was raised on a farm and was hard to fatigue.
Hello Lauren, I'm Gary I'm hopefully going to a 5e DM soon too, I've been collecting ideas and resources for a while i'm just hoping to get a bit more experience as a player on Roll20 first. I used to play as a kid occasionaly, but have just started to play again recently, - I'm interested in PF2e too. I've been working on the Great Barrier Reef for years here in Australia (+10GMT) - Brisbane time. But since the lockdown there is no work, so almost any time of day is fine, I'm pretty flexible week to week too. I expect that we'll have fun, I like to play for fun rather than play to 'win'. I've got a few ideas for characters,  A really lazy wizard, who spends a lot of energy finding ways to become lazy, .. plenty of mage hand and prestidigitation to flavour his ample food, his parents had money so he's had a life of luxury. Kinda inspired by Comic Book Guy in Simpsons, or the computer guy in Southpark In all honesty i'd personally use mage hand to feed myself all the time,.. A dirty feral, swampy lizard/dragon person, who fights tooth claws and tails, (barbarian ish) , A halfling monk who has a younger adopted half brother orc (another friend who occasionally plays) that love the idea of being a gladiator.. (currently absent) A warrior dwarf who is keen on throwing hand axes,  If you'd allow it i'm also keen to play something more unusual, like a Psyonic or a warforged. I'm home most of the time so am able to chat more over discord etc  that's great, let me know. Gary

Name you to prefer to be called: Raksha Timezone: Hawaii standard         D&D Experience: This would be my 3rd campaign I've ever done, and first session here would be my 5th as of May 4 Expectations: Generally laid back group when its the right time to be laid back, but still takes things moderately seriously. Also looking forward to some fun roleplay times. Tell me about a recent character of yours: Two that I'm running right now are a human bard and a half elf rogue. I've only had one session with the rogue though. The bard is a lot of fun, mostly because of the funny moments I've caused with my... unorthodox Bardic Inspirations and my bad luck with a crossbow. She's a bit childish and fun, but there are things she takes very seriously, though we haven't quite hit them yet in the campaign. As for characters that I'm thinking of running this campaign with, I have a tabaxi ranger that's fairly fleshed out. I'm not settled on her full backstory yet, since I think it would be best to work locations, tribes, and religions with the DM. So without those details: She lived with her tribe as a hunter until she was exiled murdering an innocent outsider. She'd thought they wished to do harm upon her people and the environment, but she was wrong. She left and began wandering the wilds alone, killing poachers, fulfilling bounties, generally doing her best to keep nature "balanced." She's not the best with people, and tends to look at major civilization as a blight on the world. She's far more at home out in nature, with the animals as company. I imagine she's not too happy with all these undead popping up, and wants to put a stop to it. Another character concept I've been toying with is a warlock/wizard. The general story I want for her is that she accidentally killed her family in a burst of magic, but she suppressed the memory, and thinks the house was burned down. She was taken in by either one wizard or a organization of multiple. Unsatisfied with her guardians' teachings, she pursued a lead on a mysterious power and summoned a (demon? deity? TBD) and they revealed something her parents did that she has to live with. When she tried to get out of it, the entity stole her hand and replaced it with a dark, demonic one, and promised to steal her entire body until she was entire theirs. Now she has do what the entity wants of her, or suffer the consequences.
