copying maps

Hello there, I was curious if there was a way to transfer a map from one campaign to the other other than just remaking it a second time

You can duplicate a campaign to transfer the map to another campaign. If you're a Mentor subscriber, you have access to the Transmogrifier tool which allows you to pluck items from one of your campaigns and copy them into another campaign directly.
the problem with this is I am looking to copy a map from someone elses campaign, not just move a map from one of my campaigns to another of my campaigns

you could do it if they gave permission. but its likely you'd have to place and size the map on your own. i did see a video about tagging and archiving maps from free or purchased modules, so that is possible. you could access your archive and pull maps from your collection.

youtube has a number of tutorial videos on Roll20. there is a 10-part series called "Creating a Campaign A to Z". it is one of those, i believe the 1st or 2nd.
