Pinning the Ruler

Have some sort of method to "pin" the ruler you just placed, possibly by right-clicking. As it works right now unless you are playing the grid, moving miniatures is awkward as hell. I take the ruler, measure the distance from my miniature to where i want to move it, then de-select the "ruler" tool, select the "move" tool, and by now i forgot where exactly my miniature is supposed to end up. This becomes a very big issue when moving on a board that has no sort of landmarks that you can go by.

If you press space while moving your token, a rule will appear showing the distance from where your token was to where you're holding it at that moment. If you press space again while moving your token, you can start placing waypoints (for movement that isn't in a straight line). That said, I've seen people on tablets complain about the ruler because their finger/stylus covers up the number, so some way to make it persist would be a good idea.

There is a hidden feature (more of a bug) I use to keep the ruler on the map. While measuring hit Ctrl+S (switches to the selection tool) and the measurement will stay on your screen (not on other people's). The measurement will vanish the next time you measure. Of course, like all "hidden features" this could vanish at any time.

I ill be using this for now, but there are still instances in which we would like to "pin" a ruler, for example when measuring deployment zones, etc.
