Hello! My name is Rachel, and I'm a professional Game Master for Dungeons & Dragons. For more information about me, reviews, and additional contact information, you can check out my website: https://www.epicescapadegames.com/ The Booyahg Boss is a One Shot adventure designed to introduce new players to Dungeons & Dragons 5e. If you are new to D&D or to Roll20, this is a great way to learn. However, even experienced players can have a great time with this zany adventure. I am currently offering this adventure all next week (May 5th-8th, which is Tuesday through Friday) at 6pm and on May 9th (Saturday) at 2pm. If I get enough interest for a different time on those dates, I am happy to adjust accordingly. We will use Roll20 for video and Discord for voice and music. Once you join the game, I can provide you a link to the Epic Escapades Discord channel. Booyahg Boss Summary: Everyone in Shallowbrook Village knows to avoid the area of Dyrram Woods where the Ka’akur goblin tribe resides. Except for the occasional raid to steal food or trinkets, the goblins keep to themselves. So no one is prepared when the goblins attack in full force. Setting loose their vicious pet wolves and swarms of rats, the goblins rampage through the village, killing, smashing, burning, and stealing. Their newfound boldness seems to be due to a goblin who can use magic. That same goblin is conspicuously wearing the hat always worn by the village’s strongest wizard. Brave members of the village’s militia must band together to deal with this threat before the goblins destroy everything they care about. Players choose a 3rd-level, pre-made character from any of the 12 core classes or import their own 3rd level character. Imported characters can use any of the official WotC content (no homebrew). If you enjoy my DMing style and want to play more, I also offer "Lost Mine of Phandelver" long-term campaigns. The campaigns include original content, and are tailored for the maximum enjoyment of each group. Hello there! My name is Dartias, and I'm looking for a new party / long-term GM to run some one-shots and, ideally, longer campaigns with. I've been playing DnD since my early teens, and after a long hiatus, I'm getting back into the game. I've played a few games via Zoom in the past few months, but I really want to get into playing with new people via Roll20, hence this post :) I usually play Fighters, Paladins, or Clerics, and I'm interested in broadening that list to include warlocks, wizards, and rouges as well. Here is a sample of one of my characters so you can get an idea of how I write backstory, etc. This is a new Bard character I'm working on that I'm excited to give a spin with the right group: https://ddb.ac/characters/21059627/Yo6pes Looking forward to playing with you! -Dartias

Hi Dartias! I'd be happy to have you as a player. :) That's why I like running One Shots, so that I can get to know players and players can see if they like my DMing style. My Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday games still have openings if you are available. The easiest way to find them is to use the advanced search options to look for "one time only" games. Post a comment on whatever day you are interested in, and I can add you to that game. Let me know if you have any other questions! Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements
Hey Rachel, Thanks for the reply and for the invite to join on of your one shots! Looking forward to rolling some dice with you :) I'll look for your one shot postings and leave a comment asap :) Thanks again, Dartias

Hi I'm very new to D&D but I "think" I know how to play. I really want to learn and would love to join your game (the character sheet confuse me a little so if you have pre-made character that's perfect!). I'm in the UK so do these time apply to me? (what I mean is if you're in the USA and the time difference is too great I might not be able to take part) Thanks Steve

Hi Steve! I love teaching new players. :) Just search for my games (easiest way is to use the advanced search option and then select "one time only") and comment on the one that fits with your schedule. Then I'll be able to add you to it. As far as the timezone difference goes, I'm not entirely sure. The games I'm offering this week start at 6pm Central Standard Time. And then the Saturday game is 2pm CST. It will depend on where exactly you are and how late you are able to stay up. The One Shot games are typically around 4-5 hours long (depends on how long it takes to get everyone set up & started, and player choices as the game progresses).
