Greetings, I am relatively inexperienced when it comes to RP's, I've done a couple of RP sessions with friends, but all of us were amateurs and we were learning as we went. However I've recently grabbed the 5e player handbook and want to try out D&D. I'd appreciate it if a relatively experienced group and/or DM took me under their wing and showed me the ropes. Due to the current pandemic my schedule is pretty flexible, but groups that hold sessions at the weekends would be the best choice for me on a long term basis. Without giving out too much information about myself, so that you can judge if I might be a good fit to your group; I'm well over the age of 18, I live in the UK but can easily do sessions stretching into the early morning. I'm a pretty relaxed and easy going guy, and consider myself a fast learner. Just explain something to me and I generally pick it up pretty easily. As a new player I'll probably have a number of questions due to my nature of wanting to understand everything, especially of you are playing homebrew rules, but I'll make a point of asking about it outside of the session when possible. Since I'm new to the game I honestly don't mind filling any holes that your group might have, and I'm willing to learn to do any role. I look forward to hearing from you!
