Hey all, I'm a pretty experienced GM, been playing 3.5 for nearly four years now. I'm in the process of starting a game, Electrum City , a western/fantasy game. It's going to be city-oriented with a base of operations at the local saloon, but there will be plenty of off-site adventures. No mics, no video chat - sorry, I'm pretty old school like that. Right now, we're looking at official adventures once every other week, on Saturdays at 8 PM EST, but if there's interest (and maybe additional GMs in the distant future) that may happen more often. In the meantime, I'd like to put a healthy emphasis on roleplaying in-between sessions, and I strongly encourage character back stories and motivations beyond taking the obvious plothook. I'd really like to create a flavorful, fleshed out world with my players, too. If any of these things sound like you, head on over! Oh, and I have plenty of experience teaching newbies, so if you're new, no worries. I'll go easy on ya. ;) New! Electrum City is hosting a totally optional side quest on Wednesday, May 28th, at 8PM EST. It's a saloon brawl, meant to serve as a tutorial for players new to the system, though it's open to all levels of experience, as well as a social function. I kind of like the idea of it, so if it goes well it may become an ongoing thing Wednesday evenings.
