City of Mist Character Sheet

The sheet is currently broken. The problem is related to power tags, which it doesn't display properly anymore. I can still see them in the attributes & abilities part of the sheet, but not in the main section of the page. I believe there is something wrong involving the coding, but i'm not an expert, so, i hope someone will solve the problem!
Yeah! Was about to play my weekly session and stumbled upon this problem :(.
Yep, it's been broken for like 7-8 hours now.
Same issue here - I hope the devs are working on it!

Keep in mind this isn't a sheet developed or maintained by Roll20. You might get better visibility in the Character Sheet forum since it is a community contributed sheet. It looks like the sheet had some sort of translation update this week if I am looking at the correct sheet on github. https://github.com/Roll20/roll20-character-sheets/tree/master/City%20Of%20Mist%20Official
still not fixed. :(

Apologies to everyone. I helped someone add the translation code so they could make an Italian translation. For some weird "local-environment-to-github" mystery, the code I submitted was an older version of my edits. ;-( A lthough our test game was absolutely fine and I thought that was the code I submitted, something went wrong... I already have a new pull submitted last night ( https://github.com/Roll20/roll20-character-sheets/pull/6385 ) that should be error free, but it will not be live until next week. Pro users can use a custom game with the code from my pull request if they want to play now. I'm also happy to set anyone up with a game with the fixed code (PM me) and I'll make them a co-gm until the fix is live. Very Sorry.
Thank you, Vince, for your quick response to the problem! Also thank you for your work on the sheet, my students and I have been using it for the past two months and it's been a blessing in our transition to an online platform during these weird times. We'll use the community made version until the error is fixed, and then come back to it. Question: Will it save the data (power tags) we had on it before the problem?

Thank you Andres. There should be no issues with attribute data. This was simply an issue of adding special translation coding to the existing HTML of the sheet that allows all text to be translated. Another roll20 member was kind enough to volunteer their time making an Italian translation of the sheet but we needed to get the base code added to the sheet first. We had worked through adding the code and making adjustments to compensate for various issues that may arise from converting to another language. I simply had an issue in the way I submitted my pull request to roll20's github repository that used an older version of our ongoing edits. Oversight on my part. ;-( Again, very sorry for the disruption. Just to update; I have submitted a request for a "hotfix" to either roll-back the code or merge my current pull request which should be error free. Given the latest increase in roll20 activity, I can understand if this might not be a feasible request. Hopefully this will get resolved without much more issue. Just giving other options: until a fix goes live, pro users can change their game's sheet template to a "custom" sheet (or copy and use custom w/code below) or create a new game and use code prior to the last broken update: HTML , CSS , or the pending pull request with the corrected code: HTML , CSS , Translation
Thanks for fixing it. On that note, I have Hungarian translation for it. Can you add that?

Hi Olivér, You're welcome and sorry for the inconvenience. The good news is that the sheet now has the code needed for language translations, but I'm not sure that roll20 has Hungarian as one of it's supported languages... (at least I do not see a hu.json file in the translations folder on roll20's repository) You can learn a little more about how translations work here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Character_Sheet_i18n and this might be relevant; Note to Translation volunteer:If a character sheet already translations capabilities, Roll20 prefers translation to be handled through the CrowdIn-service , which can be used by people without any programming background. Access to CrowdIn can be gained by emailing team@roll20.net and asking about wanting to do translations.

Hi everyone, this is Amit from Son of Oak Game Studio. Sorry that everyone had issues with their sheet. We have been trying to contact Roll20 about this for a couple of days, but as Vince noted, their response rate is significantly delayed these days. Vince, as a sheet author perhaps you know: Is there a possibility to make a sheet official and to prevent unauthorized changes to the sheet? While it may be defined as a community sheet, the City of Mist sheet is actually official, it has paid products that are based on it, and was created and edited by paid freelancers. We can't have this sheet crash and shut down organized play games for a week just because someone introduced their own changes, as welcome as they may be. Ideally, I would like to create an official sheet, and a copy for the community to experiment with. I've reached Roll20 with these questions, but I'm interested if anyone has experience with this.

Hello Amit, I honestly do not know what the criteria is to have a sheet maintained by Roll20. As you mentioned already, such matters would need to be directed to team@roll20.net Hopefully the old adage, "There is no such thing as bad publicity." will hold true this week... I sincerely apologize for my part in this incident.
Fixed!
