Missing magic items in compendium - DND 5e

Hello,  In an attempt to get all of my players to put their characters fully in roll20, I've asked everyone to use the charactermancer and have for the most part been successful.  We've gotten everyone up to 6th level but have reached a snag when trying to get their magic items from the compendiums (I went back and bought - even though I own all of the books IRL...), I'm finding there are many items that are missing.  Is this a known issue?  Is there a list of items that are missing so I could know going forward what to expect?  It's super disappointing to invest in these e-books to find there's content that isn't available.  Can anyone help?

Unless the magic item is in the SRD (most are), or in a compendium expansion, it won't be available. When the DMG is released later this year, that should fill out the remainder.
Yeah, I was looking for a weapon of warning and a sentinel shield, both are in the DMG but neither could be found in the compendium.  Just seemed odd that they weren't included.
It's just as well that those two items weren't included. Both grant you advantage on initiative but there's no way an inventory item can change the macro for the character's initiative roll, so it reminds you to manually set that up.
Sure, I understand that some items are going to be a pain to code.  My thought is that roll20 could have just included the item for the text so the players could read them and have them easily accessible with an explanation that the coding part isn't set up.  It also would have been cool to know ahead of time that not all items were available - if that was posted anywhere I hadn't seen it.

They cannot even legally post the text.
why has it taken so long for the DMG to come out? seems insane that they chose it to be the last rulebook to get added.
Thanks for keeping us informed Keith, I appreciate it. :)
