Note Log for players

Hi guys. Does anyone know if it is possible to alter the Note Log to be accessible to players? It would be a pretty neat if it was not only the GM's notes, but it could also make specific handouts for the party and the individual players aswell. No idea if this can be implemented though?

Do you mean for NPC’s?  You can do this (assuming npc named John Doe): Create handout editable and viewable by all players Name handout John Doe Player Notes Archive handout to avoid clutter Edit John Doe character sheet (the part the players can see when you make it visible) with the line [John Doe Player Notes] Now when the players open that NPC in the journal they have a link to a blank page where they can make notes.

It can definitely modified to let players use it.  As Patrick said, just spell out your use case and we can help you find a solution.

Well. what i am thinking is if it would somehow be possible for the players themselves to take notes using the !NoteLog command (or similar). So what I'm seeking is: - For players to be able to add text to a personal log, through a command/macro (possible with a text box popping up on screen? like ?{Notes} or the like) - For players to be able to add text to a shared "party" log, through a command/macro (possible with a text box popping up on screen? like ?{Notes} or the like) Something like !NoteLogPersonal  and  !NoteLogParty It could also be pretty cool to just add the two together an make it a drop down query like "which log?" and the be able to chose from Private or Party. Making a command like !NoteLogShared that the party could use exclusivly without messing with the GM's !NoteLog command That way i (as GM) wouldn't have to take party notes and players would also be able to more easily add notes to their personal or party notebooks (i salvaged the ?{Notes} line from the Multi-world-calander script which Log Day is taken from the LogNote. Ultimatly i'll try to make it so that players can make Log Notes through the script itself, so they get day, month and year attached to their note. That would be so cool) Hope my request makes sense and that it's not unrealistic. I wouldn't want to burden you guys =)
