PC Default Tokens only work for me.

So i went through and set up the default tokens for all my players. it worked for 1 session. then the next week when my players pulled a their token to the battle map some of them did not have the values and nameplates that are set as the default. when I pull them to the map it works fine but when my PC's try to do it, they only pull the token picture with no values. i read through some other forum posts on this but didn't find a fix that worked so far.

Make sure you are setting them up in the correct order. Saving as default must be done last. Anything done to the token after that will not affect the default token. Wiki:  Linking Tokens to Journals Video:  Roll20TnT Linking Tokens and Journals

When i pull them off it works. when my players drag and drop there is nothing there. I belive ive done it right. i followed the wiki but idk why my players pull a different token than i do

Try this: Pull the token from the journal tab (don't just open one already on the table) Open the token settings What is under the "Controlled by" setting?

What does it say in the "Represents Character" field? You want it to look kinda like the above. Then and only then save it as the default token on the character sheet.

It represents the right character. The problem is that I have to place all 6 players for every map. I'm still learning the system so it really helps if my players could place themselves. But when they place themselves the Bar values and name do not show up. but when I pull the same token from journal to the map it has all the values.

So the above section in my screenshot looks the same on a token one of your players pulls out to the tabletop (except the name field)?

Based on my experience with my players last session:  have them make certain that they are pulling it out from the name, not the icon in the journal.  Pulling out the icon does not bring out the proper token.
