Purchase Issue

I tried to purchase a monster pack, but my cc was declined; finances are not an issue and so wondering if there would be any other reason why my cc could not be used?

Credit card purchases made online go through a bunch of authentication processes between the service you're purchasing and your bank/credit card company. The parameters they check are constantly in flux as a way to prevent credit card fraud. (This is also why a card that worked presently at a webstore might get denied later on and vice versa.) If any one of the parameters the bank is looking for in authentication doesn't meet their expectations, they decline the charge as a safety precaution. This isn't a Roll20 exclusive problem, but an ecommerce problem. Here's Stripe's (Stripe is what we use for ecommerce) website about credit card declines - https://stripe.com/help/declines What you might end up having to do is to contact your bank to ask them to allow purchases made from Roll20 go through.
thanks for that! Ill contact my cc company and make sure that they allow Roll20.
They probably read it as "Roll 4:20" and didn't want you buying pot with their card...

Glad I could help, Shaun. Assets purchases through Roll20 are probably listed under The Orr Group, LLC.
I'm having a similar problem signing up for a subscription to become a supporter. I keep getting the error (Status 402) Your card was declined. I've tried my American and my Korean credit card. Same thing. I tried my American check card and it wouldn't even go through. I'm located in South Korea, but I don't know if that would make a difference. I contacted my bank back in the states and they said they don't see any attempted charges and there is nothing wrong with my card. If someone could help me with this, I would love to support this website.

Lance: I ended up having to call my credit card company and approving Roll 20 over the phone with the fraud department. After I did that, everything is working smoothly.

I've purchased something from the marketplace with the same credit card a few months ago. Could it be my ip address? Edit: I just purchased something from the Marketplace. It went through. Are they different.
