username Name privacy on the website.

Didnt realise my username would be my actual name, is there any way you can change it. I know you can in the application itself but theres no point to this if they already know my name from the forums.

Top right corner and click on your name. This will bring up a menu. Go to profile and change your display name by clicking on your name, change it, then save it.

That would be on your profile screen. It only gives your first name and the Initial of your last name. It is a big world and unless your first name is something like Barrack or Rumplestiltskin it should allow you to sink into the background noise. It was rather refreshing to see a community of people rather then a bunch names like "xXKrunkXx" and "yoloswag."

Roll20 is one of the few websites that allows you to change your Name whenever you want, and keep the same account. Most websites have your display name, permanently attached to your login name. Also most websites cannot accommodate 2 people with the same name, but Roll20 can handle it. Roll20 lets you change your name as many times as you want, under your Profile tab. As an added feature, you can also change your display name per-game, for each game you're in, this setting is found under the Gear icon at the top-right when you are in a game on here. So, you can have any Forum / website display name you want, AND you can have individual character names displaying in the chatrooms of each game you join.
