Apply Default Settings not working for Whisper Rolls Setting

Greetings I have noticed that in my game of Descent into Avernus, all the NPC sheets have the setting regarding rolling set to "Always whisper rolls".  This setting in game settings is set to "Never whisper rolls." I tried to use "Apply Default Settings" but the option regarding whispering rolls did not appear. I got it to appear by changing it from "Never Whisper Rolls" to "Whisper Toggle" and reloaded the game. This allowed me to push it through "Apply Default Settings."  However, once I changed it to "Never Whisper Rolls"  from the toggle option, the check box in "Apply Default Settings" did not appear even after multiple reloads and checks to make sure it saved in the Game Default Settings.  It seems as though I can change it and push it through as any setting other than "Never Whisper Rolls." Whisper toggle is at least manageable since I don't have to open and edit every single sheet to get it to show to the players, but it would be nice to be able to have all the sheets set to "Never Whisper Rolls" for my play style.

Unfortunately, this is the accepted workaround. It has been brought up many times. The problem is that "Never Whisper Rolls" is essentially an empty value (no whisper command), and the automation doesn't know how to account for an empty string.

Hi there, So I also ran into this little problem with Dungeon of the Mad Mage, where applying default settings did not make it so that NPC's and/or monsters do not always whisper their rolls. So I found this thread, and I would be happy enough with the toggle solution, only... I've tried it 3 times now, changing the out-of-game settings, and then applying default settings from in-game, and then restarting or refreshing, but all the pre-placed monsters are still set to whispering no matter what... So, no luck with this workaround for me. Is there anything else I could do, or have done wrong, or is this module simply not meant to work that way? (I doubt that though).  It's a bit of a let-down to have to manually change it for every single monster on the maps when there is an option for it that IMHO should  work...  After all RPG's are all about the freedom of choice (and rolling dice) and I would really like to roll the way I like to roll, by default. It seems such a small and trivial thing compared to so many other features and mechanics, to not have that in working order, no offence intended to the development team, though.  :) Would this be on the to-do list to get it fixed/working, does anyone know?  Thanks in advance!!
