[Weekly Downtime Thread][Spring I 1526 HC][Sessions 185-190]

Please post any of your downtime activities below. You can find the full rules for downtime  here . You can find last week's downtime thread  here. This thread is for the week:  7 May to 10 May, covering sessions 185-190 Always remember to be specific about what downtime action you are taking! If you're leveling up type that in your post labeled as OOC! If you're looking into an item be specific about where that item is from, what mission, when you got it, who from, etc. If you write "I read that book I found" the DM is likely to have no clue what you are talking about. If you are learning a language, or tool make sure to write down how many weeks you have been practicing! This lowers the DC, and gives advantage depending on the number of weeks. Also a reminder that players only get one main downtime action per week.

Drago & Nalu Drago celebrates his 16th birthday at his tower in Urkenhame. Surrounded by friends, Kaerava, Nalu, Larmedylth, Mammoth Warrior, Freya everyone. It's getting close to two whole years in the cohort but he really can't remember what life used to be without it, more so what life was like when he wasn't living in Urkenhame. During the morning of his birthday, he travels down to Bellassars grave, cleans, and maintains it the best he can before enjoying his day. After the birthday celebration, Drago will find a moment to speak with Larmedylth about his upcoming mission. The souls of the cohort members are still trapped and he is heading over to the Isle of Ghosts with Brognir to free them. Is there anything important he should know about the isle. He has heard about magic items can die and end up on the isle, is there any she knows of that is worth trying to find, how to find or is this a rumor to trap the greedy. Most importantly of all, how to make sure he and his friends return home safely. He then finds Nalu to explain how he won't be able to bring her with him because he doesn't know if he will be able to protect her where he is traveling.  Major: Asking Larmedylth for aid with Isle of ghosts (willing to use renown) Minor Action: Enjoying his 16th Birthday.  Orithar Trisk Orithar returns back to Corin's Inn to see Llaegheaubhe. Her demeanor makes her quite unique and appealing against the standard affair you would run into. When he is around her he forgets of dreams of strength, knowledge and power and becomes more relaxed and content, enjoying the conversation. He will try to get to know her a little more, asking where she comes from and try to get a read on what kind of person she is, what she values, or doesn't. With some more luck, Orithar will have another week of pleasant company.

Raven Tonks Rowan spends time researching and adjusting to her new undead state trying to find solutions for being outside to adventure and possible cures. Hen Studies tales of the mad mage lich in the Daugren library and seeks to find out if any of his victims survived and/or were cured. Hadrian Darkleaf Attempts to get armour made for Nara, his wolf. Rendi Theocus Returns to the cohort in his new form. Trys to find a small hidden hole somewhere in the cohort to make into his new room. Mixes up some poison for his sling ammo, if possible. Chikat Stonehaven Level up to 4.  Nerolia Does research for the cohort about more information on Goatlings and who they might be allied with.

Kazimir Zima Kazimir spends his time playing his pan flute in the Cohort common room for tips. Savas Al-Hadar Major Action:  Savas prays and practices to gain another level in cleric (level up). Minor Action:  Savas pays Orithar 50 GP to cast identify on the amulet he obtained from the cultists in Ber Dairas (that apparently has some sort of abilities vs creatures from other dimensions).

Korak  (Level to 9! at Urkenhame Forges) Korak is sits at his forge weary from a long day of repairing his friends weapons and fixing dings in his armor, cohort members put their tools through so much abuse and it makes for tiring work repairing them. This day is long for the old dwerren and he nods off, slumped in his chair, dreaming of the might of Moradins flame and his companions with the battles to come and the new and old faces he wishes to see. His dreams move onto the room he had been forging in all this day, he stands looking at it from a distance and hears strange sounds coming from the forge. One of a crackling and flaring, another a swashing of the sea and flow of a stream, a third of a gentle breeze and a windy day. However there is a fourth sound that he understands as the language of Terran letting out a faint whisper in a tiny voice "feed me". Korak snaps awake and finds the sounds are still there, four tiny creatures are running around his forge. A small ember dancing in the forge left over from the fire, a wisp of wind flying around the bellows. A drop of water swimming around in the quenching bucket and a tiny stone chipped from the anvil reaching its hands out to Korak saying "Feed Me". Korak makes a device to hold these creatures and soon finds out they need to be separated they are constantly fighting aside for a few sets of friends you would expect. The water drop constantly chases around the flame and he is quite afraid of her. The ember takes out his frustration on the pebble who usually just sits there and lazes while the fire heats him up, and the wind wisp seems supportive of the flame always patting him on the back and bringing up his spirits. After making their separated habitat jar they seem quite happy as long as Korak keeps giving them fresh elements to feed off of and allowance to visit each other once in awhile. Otherwise they seem to dwindle over time from not eating or if they seem lonely. Korak is unsure what trouble these things might cause so he keeps them safe and away from prying eyes for the time being.  (Minor Action: Asking Silver for aid in time of need, spending any and all 22 Drachenward renown if necessary) Korak sits silently contemplating the perils of the mission to come at the island of the dead and whether or not to ask for assistance from silver. He still feels the burden of responsibility for what happened to Urkenhame not so long ago, just recently building the courage to ask a favor of the lead to find his lost friend Elune. Pondering this thought watching the  little elementals playfulness and care for one another makes him realize he does not want this boon for himself but to keep his friends safe. And so with a proud voice he builds the courage to tell Larmedylth the plight he and Drago face and the dangers that await them. All he asks is if she has some boon that would allow him to help see that the boy makes it back home to Drachenward safely. 
Yaara Mielahoney Location: Halls of the Cohort Arcanum - Isle of Fabrica After two trips to the Margreve and both times having no one able to speak to the locals, Yaara asks around the Cohort if anyone is free to help her learn the language. One Salazar di Fioretti offers, to which Yaara is very grateful and gifts him some honey. Salazar asks Yaara if she'd teach him Skitter, and she is more than willing. ( Major Action: Learn Midguardian [Downtime attempt 1]. Minor Action: Teach Skitter to Salazar di Fioretti. )
Salin Major Action: Level up to 5.  
Robert Bossouri: If Rob has something like a scroll of Pedigree or similiar document or token that is proof of his status as Roesone nobility, he would consult with Valthibra the Redeemer wether a long lasting access to the Cohort libraries is something that should be prioritized in his free time or if there are other matters that should be handled first Eirena Lightshadow: Eirena will have her hands full, trying to make sure that her newest adoption Áine and Nasaadi get along properly. She hopes that Nasaadi would look to the child like a small sibling she can look after and tries her best so Nasaadi doesn't feel like she gets less attention than Áine.  When she has times of peace during the nights, she will spend those training and attuning to her bond with Kirken more, to level up as a warlock. ( Level up to 7 ) Sithric Sidhefriend:  Will continue researching which dragons are known to live in Binsada. He has not given up his search of a name or the knowledge thereof. He wants his Bow to carry a name, finally.  Alvah Laurent: Alvah will work on improving her speeches, her magic and her silver tongue. ( Level up to 5 as Bard ) Once she gets the diamond that Bugdurash has given her appraised, she will sell it off for it's value.
Cordie Cordie practices with her magic in her new form to better harness it so she can more confidently avoid disasters like her last mission. She does her best to ensure Raven's new needs are met, but keeps a close eye on her for signs of her apprentice losing her mind and becoming hostile. Major:  Leveling up - Sorcerer 2 Minor:  Making the tower more vampire-friendly
Thorkell the Tall Thorkell returns to the Stormlord Seebrands to show that he has fullfilled the conditions of the "proving". He claims honestly that he did not run away from any danger presented to him and he always chose the honest fight, defending his comrades. He even fought to the death twice and was already lying on the floor unconsiously, but was raised by his fellow adventurers to continue the fight. Although Thorkell is not proud of his mishaps, he is also not afraid to show them. If Kirken wanted him dead, he would not stand here right now. But of course Thorkell also takes pride in the great enemies he has slain. He takes out the tooth of the Giant Spider Snake, reminiscing about his duell with this creature, while most of his friends didn't dare come close to this beast. He was able to withstand the poison, break free from any net that the creature shot at him and did some serious damage to it. Finally just before he headed back to the Stormlord Seebrands he visited a mysterious land in the North East and fought a vampiric mist, which only Kirken's radiant flame was able to damage. "My adventures show: Kirken stands with me! Lend me your support and I promise you, that we will drive Ruornil's Celestial Spell out of these lands and restore the faith in Kirken to its old glory! Make Rohrmarch great again!" Nasir Al'Rahka Continues to learn Anuierean from Bronsun (Week 3) Gork Wolfborn Lvls up to 5. He asks Syndra of the current state of the Blood Skull Barony, and if she still needs his support to conquer the lands. If not he will return to the Cohort.
Brognir Brognir will head to the isle of serpents and try to find out more about the rumor he heard that the people know how to travel to the isle of ghosts and return from the island. Phage Phage will try to remove curse on the blood cloak. She will cast remove curse on it. So she will be able to remove the cloak off of her. If the task is not possible she will try to study the curse more.
Drago Larmedylth tells Drago she knows little of the isle as dragons cannot die, and hence are barred from the island. Nalu will not be able to accompany him there. Orithar Orithar returns to find that she is missing. Some of the other staff tell Orithar that Llaegheaubhe is bed ridden. Indeed he doesn't see her a single time during the week. The staff leave food and water outside of her room, but none dare enter. Wretched moaning can be heard from the other side of her door. Cedrych Cedrych levels up. Kazimir Volkov Salazar Salazar is a good teacher for the bee woman. Raven Raven does some research in the old books found in Cordie's basement. She discovers that if anyone knows how to shield themselves from the sun, it would be the shadow fey. Hen Hen discovers that man y still roam the sewers underneath the city forever cursed to eat and consume human refuse. They play an important role in maintaining the sewers, but there aren't any stories of them returning to the surface. Though there also aren't any stories of them able to retain human form or intelligence either. Hadrian Hadrian can get armour made at standard price. He will need to get it made at The Cohort if it contains steel. Rendi Rendi finds a small hole in the wall to call his own. Chikat Levels up. Nerolia Nerolia does some research on the goatlings, but isn't able to find out who they might work for. They are fey creatures, and often times spread chaos on a whim. Kazimir Kazimir spends time playing flute, and gets a silver worth of money. Savas Savas levels up. The amulet sometimes detects as magical and sometimes doesn't. It can't be identified with the spell and attempting to do so causes Orithar to see things he shouldn't have seen, and gain 1 point of madness. Bronsun Bronsun learns Sylvan from Cedrych. Lurleen Lurleen tries to convert others, but will need time and money to reestablish the church. Anitgone Anitgone discovers that the megapede has trouble with hard stone. It likely won't be able to dig away if it's held there. Or one could use magic, or some other means to immobilize it. Korak Larmedylth tells Korak that she cannot go there, nor can her magic reach there. Dragons are immortal creatures and hence barred from the island. She tells Korak that if he visits her before he embarks she might be able to lend him some things. Yaara Yaara learns Midgardian from Salazar. Salin Levels up. Robert Robert is told that noble status has no sway in The Cohort, and attempting to use it for special privileges can result in punishment. Eirena Eirena levels up. Nasaadi isn't taking well to her new sister. She's been very jealous, and is often misbehaving. Sithric Sithric continues his research, but still isn't able to find anything about dragons. However he does hear about an Alehouse Drake that frequents The Cat's Cradle. Alvah Alvah levels up. She will need to find a buyer for a diamond that expensive. Cordie Cordie levels up, and gets some curtains to block out the sun. The secret area in the tower is especially useful. Thorkell Thorkell goes to find the Seabrands destroyed. Ruornil's Celestial Spell has taken over the area, and if there are any surviving members they are surely imprisoned, or in slavery. Nasir Nasir learns Anuirean Gork Gork levels up. Syndra tells Gork that war is coming. Brognir Brognir isn't able to find passage to the isle. It's considered a cursed land, and no one who goes there ever returns. Rather they end up enslaved or dead doesn't really matter. Nobody is stupid enough to even sail near it. Phage Phage manages to remove her robe.
