Greetings, I am a fairly new DnD player, with only a few sessions of Next under my belt. I am really enjoying the game, but unfortunately my group only meets every other week, and joining an online group meetings weekly is tricky right now due to that unfortunate thing called real life. But, this coming Monday is Memorial Day, which means no work… it seems like it would be a great opportunity to do a short, single-session, 1 day campaign. Are stand-alone sessions something that people do, or is it really not possible to get enough done in 1 session ( perhaps 8 hours?), especially with people who have not played together before? Anyways, I just wanted to throw this idea out there and say I would be interested. I definitely don’t have the experience to DM, though I would be willing to help the DM in any pre-game administrative things that might be necessary. It seems like it could be fun to spend a day storming some small labyrinth or something, maybe giving people an opportunity to test run new characters. Any takers? (I assume the hardest part will be finding someone willing to DM… maybe some DM wants to test run a scenario they have put together for their normal group?)
