Handouts but for gear, with stats, that can be awarded via drag and drop

Currently Handouts come with picture and text. So if it's a piece of treasure, with stats/magic abilities. The player has to transcript it into their character sheet. OR the DM does when they get a moment.  Not knowing the in's and out's of codes, since we can already search the compendium and drag and drop equipment and magical items. What if we make that a Handout template? The DM can build the equipment handout, with all the stats that would transfer onto the Character Sheet via 'Attacks & Spellcasting' For things like custom magic items, or artifacts? Things outside the DMG and other supplement books that can be bought and added to the compendium.
