[LFP][5E][Discord][Experienced DM][Paid][Streaming] I have a Wednesday night campaign looking for 1 more

Note: This game is already in progress. We play every Wednesday at 7pm EST. The party is made up of two wizards, a warlock, and a paladin. This is my full time work now so I am asking if players would be willing to tip. Additionally, we stream the game on twitch every week at Twitch.tv/DM_TheMarkKnight If you are still interested please read everything carefully and fill out the application linked below. On the rocky northern coast lies the city of Ravenreach. The City of Spires is one of the oldest cities in Oredin. Ravenreach is made up of towering gothic cathedrals, dark stones, wrought iron gates, and sharp angles. Castle Cora is located at the highest point in the city and at its center is a tower that reaches far above the other buildings. At its top is a great lighthouse to guard the passage of ships into shore. The Duke has not been seen in many years, not since the death of the duchess in childbirth. He has ruled from seclusion and only in recent years has his young son taken to be the public face of the Duchy and he is often away on politics. There has been a shadow cast over the city for 15 years and it only grows darker. Things lurk in the shadows and in the night. You are a fledgeling member of an organization known only through whispers, The Danse Macabre, a secret society dedicated to keeping the city safe from dark forces and the monstrous creatures that lurk in the shadows. Though the order may dabble in the dark arts to understand its ways it does so under careful guidelines and control. You have sworn your oaths to protect the city in shadow and secret. You are the bulkhead against the waves of paranormal and primordial evil which threaten to overtake the common man. The Organization Politics: Medium Roleplaying: Medium Tactics: Medium Player Buy-in: Being a part of a secret society that quietly deals with supernatural threats needs to sound intriguing. You have to buy into the idea that you are dedicated to protecting Ravenreach at any cost. The idea of investigating, hunting, and haunting evil have to grab your attention along with a desire to grow within the hierarchy of the organization. Mark, Would you be able to expound a little on IP/content protection; specifically, any sort of profit-sharing from streaming revenue generated using material written by me (characters, background/setting details, etc.)? As a writer, I'm a bit leery of people charging me to use my IP to generate their revenue...
I currently make negligible income from my streaming content. I've been streaming for about 2 months and have a steadily growing channel but it is difficult to earn a living as a streamer. I simply started by being compensated for the time and effort I put into running my campaigns. I began streaming at the behest of my players. My service is ultimately to my players first. Should my twitch channel grow large enough to provide a suitable income I would forgo charging my players. The primary source of IP is my setting and any characters and their development are ultimately a collaborative effort. Ideally being a part of a growing stream would be beneficial to everyone on screen and involved. I give credit to the map makers and song creators who I utilize for that very purpose. If you feel that you're uncomfortable with that I understand.
To be clear, it's not that your IP is going to be taken from you in any sort of fashion. Mark's twitch can potentially(as it grows) get in trouble for using content that's not his, and is not protected. So the basic thing is to make sure your character image isn't copyright to someone else. As far as making your own stuff, don't worry, it's still yours, it's just ALSO being used in Mark's campaign and you're giving permission for him to use it by being a part of it and letting him stream it. You can stream it as well if you'd like, and you can distribute it as you like. It's less signing over your IP and more sharing it, being official about it and all that to make sure nobody comes back and decides to sue Mark for streaming their character and whatnot.(extremely low chance that'll ever happen, but you can't be too careful online).
As a player of Mark's game, I am having an amazing time. At the moment the income Mark is generating is helping him actually do this for us the players. If Mark couldn't earn an income, I wouldn't have a game. The truth is most fans love the people behind the characters and then the characters. How many people would want to see Grog in critical roll for example if it wasn't being played by Travis. If the stream blows up, and starts generating huge numbers and raking in those monies, im sure the players and Mark would have a conversation... until that happens though I am completely fine with it, and happy to support someone who is also making content I love.
