how to chose focus other than evoker at wizard 2nd level

hi, new here, how do I have a choice other than evoker when chosing wizard focus at 2nd level. One should be able to make a basic class choice on a standard class I used the forum search and advanced search functions before posting this and found nothing on the topic. Thanks for any help. Same thing when trying to choose background. All my characters get only Acolyte background, whatever they are. I am a paid subscriber level. Thanks for any help.

You need to own the PHB or other books for there to be other options in the charactermancer. By default Roll20's D&D 5E compendium only contains the free SRD content. I'm pretty sure you can also select a "custom" option to edit yourself.
okay thanks, I went and got the PHB. Does that also apply to the option to gain a feat at 4th level? I'm not able to do anything other than ability score increase at 4th level with the PHB. Do I need something else for that or do I need to wait a few weeks for the Xanthar's guide to everything to be implemented? Thanks for the response. Also, do you know if getting the PHB here on roll20 activates it on beyondDnD?

1. Feats are supported by drag and drop only (save for first level on Charactermancer). I have heard reasons for this involving the lack of mechanical infrastructure to support prerequisites and changes to other parts of the sheet. (But IMO, just adding text to the sheet should be allowed.) So in charactermancer, just ignore the ASI and drop the feat in manually after applying changes. 2. No, there is no official integration between materials purchased on DDB and on Roll20. From the back end, the code is completely different, and developed to interact with completely different systems. Further, they are different companies and have some competitive overlap.
