[Looking for Player] Curse of Strahd campaign 5E.

Hey everyone, I'm currently looking for one more player to join in on a new Curse of Strahd group. The existing group is currently 1 session into Death House, which is more of an introduction to the setting than to the campaign as a whole so you havent missed out on much. The campaign runs on Tuesday nights (First session was 8:30pm-Midnight EST) but is flexible enough to move to Mondays and times can vary as needed. Group is a mix of experience level with me as the DM. I have run paid campaigns in the past but only run free campaigns now so you can expect a DM providing paid levels of quality for free. I am fairly relaxed on rules for character creation so I am willing to work in creative character concepts as long as they aren't too far out there to throw off the Gothic Horro setting of Ravenloft. Hi, I'm somewhat new to D&D (currently playing my first campaign and 10-15 sessions in); do I need access to the Curse of the Strahd book to join this group?

To answer your questions: 1. No you dont need the book to join, in fact it's best that you dont read anything in the book to prevent spoilers (this is true for most modules tbh) 2. Yes there is still room as I wont be deciding on a final players for a couple days. When there is no more room I will be updating the post and then deleting. I also am completely fine with new players as I teach how to play 5e to people and how to use Roll20 all the time.

Hello. You've made a really great pitch for this game! The time frame works well for me and I can see myself getting into some classic horror storytelling . I'm more familiar with pathfinder, but I've heard 5e has an easy learning curve.

For the people still finding this post/the people posted here waiting for a response: I'll be reaching out to everyone tomorrow, I'm a nurse so I work 3 twelve hour shifts in a row and unfortunately dont have much time to manage things until my final shift (tonight) finishes. This means anyone still interested should feel free to continue throwing your hat into the ring.
