5th Edition OGL Companion Ammo Tracking not tracking

Hi everyone, new Pro user here. I've installed a few API scripts and they've so far worked quite nicely. I can't seem to get the ammo tracking functionality to work with the 5th Edition OGL Companion script. I've tried everything I can think of. I've re-installed the script, confirmed that Ammo Tracking in the character sheet settings is set to ON, proper syntax between all elements of the ammunition involved matching. I've tried deleting the ammo entirely and dragging from the compendium, again confirming syntax. Seems like a real simple setup, but it's not tracking for me. All other functions of the 5th Edition OGL Companion are working for me, too, which is even more confusing. Spellslots deplete as they should, etc. Entering !5esetup shows that all the functions are on/enabled. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Based on what you said above it seems like you tried this, but I'll mention it on a lark. Syncing up the Ammo with the Weapon is often the step causes the problem, as the ammo name needs to be entered manually for each ammo/weapon in the Attacks/Spells area of the sheet (e.g. Arrows or Crossbow bolts in the Ammunition field of the weapon). It's also possible that the Roll20 servers were bogged down a bit.

Other things to check: Enter !5estatus into chat to verify ammo tracking is on. Check that it is active on the settings tab of the character sheet. Check that the ammunition has "use as a resource" checked in your inventory listing for it. Also: Chris, why the ID number in the ammo field? What does that do?
The sheet adds the ID number to the Ammunition field.

Huh, I never noticed. Once it was set up and working I guess I never re-opened to check.

Thanks for the replies! Looks like none of your suggestions fixed the problem. I did notice some other weirdnesses that may help you help me figure this out though: the tracking doesn't work for one of my characters, while it works just fine for all the others. I've checked their Abilities/Attributes tabs, and the one in question matches the others in terms of the related tracking scripts ("ammotracking" is "on", for instance, on both sheets). Just to check, I added various weapons to other seets and the ammo tracking seems to be fine. Another thing: the character sheet in question will not accept items dragged from the compendium, which I suspect may be related somehow. But as I understand it, one should be able to enter items that are not in the compendium, make it a resource and apply ammo tracking to it. Any ideas why this would be?  Short of deleting the character sheet and recreating it, are there any other things I could try?

Is the character that cannot accept compendium drops popped out into its own window? If it is a PC, it should otherwise accept Compendium drops.
It is, and update: the drag and drop works on the aforementioned character (whose ammo tracking doesn't work) now. I tried many things, one of which was to change the "Can Be Edited & Controlled By" box - removed player control, then assigned it again. Not sure why that would have made it work, but it does now. However, the ammo tracking still does not work. So I'm still where I started.
Have you tried re-setting the ammunition on the attack? For this attack that is not working, can you show a screenshot of the expanded attack (like Chris showed above)?
Hi Rabulias - sure, here's what I'm seeing: This may be completely unrelated, but ever since I started installing API scripts (at the moment I use only three) I've experienced a lot of strange behavior with clicking on various menu items throughout Roll20. I know this may not be related at all, but for instance: the last couple of days, when trying to access the API scripts from the dropdown menu of one of my games settings, the dropdown menu does not drop down, it just highlights. This is using Chrome. I switch to using Firefox, and that allows me to access the drop down menu....sometimes. When this happens in either browser, the date and time of my next scheduled campaign displays as a string of numbers, as shown below. Again, probably not related, but thought I'd mention it.

Are you on recent versions of Chrome and Firefox? If you are sounds like a browser extension or plugin or some kinds of security software may be causing problems with your dropdown menus. Back to your original problem, be sure there are no other entry in your equipment list named "Arrows." I would try turning off Ammo Tracking for this character, deleting Arrows from your equipment, deleting Arrows from the Ammunition field in the Attack, turning Ammo Tracking back on, then dragging Arrows from the Compendium again and seeing if that fixes it.
Tried your suggestion, Rabulias, and alas, no fix. When I have some time I'll try deleting the character and re-creating it, unless anyone else out there thinks of other things I might try. Thanks for the suggestions so far, and I'll report back if anyone has this problem and deleting/recreating fixes it. As to my Chrome and Firefox versions - they're updated, and I have very few extensions (9) and they're really common extensions, like Dropbox, Docs, LastPass, etc. Also, no third-party security software installed. Strange indeed. I'll try blowing on the cartridge a bit more, so to speak, and see if a solution shakes out.
I fixed the problem by re-creating the character. Works great now.
