Greetings and Salutations my friends!! Great adventures await you in the North. My name is Johannes and I'm from Germany (feel free to call me Jax or JD though). I am 22 and a student of mathematics with a passion for RPGs. I've been playing D&D 5e for about two years now and I'm looking for one or two new players for my weekly group on Sundays. My DM style is pretty much 50/50 of RP/combat but with an emphasis on roleplay first on foremost. I got into D&D through critical role and I'm running sessions very similar to Matthew Mercer's. The game is somwhat homebrew. What I mean by that is, that I will play the plot of a module while changing stuff I don't like. I do NOT use the prepared module in roll20 cause it lacks in my opinion. Apart from that everything is normal and by the book for the time being although reflavouring is fine obviously. For character creation we roll 4d6 keep three and we roll in order aka no switching in between stats. Rerolling is allowed although we usually come up with an interesting character concept for you :) (thats the creation process Matthew Colville uses and me and my players quite like it, just give it a shot!) Besides that we are looking to not only meet up for D&D but rather build a friendship besides the session so we get the "group of friends playing stuff" feeling. We would like to play with voice and video in a longterm campaign but we understand that one might isn't comfortable with showing face to strangers at the internet. So what should you bring to the table? - be kind, respectful and overall fun to be around - have a knack for RP not just combat - looking to get to know nice and especially normal people (met some weird bunches around here) I play with veterans and newbies alike and almost 80% of my longterm players were actually completely new to the game and fell in love with it through me. Please, especially if you're new, don't be shy!! You still reading? Well, then you might just be a perfect fit. If you don't mind PM me with some basic information about yourself. I will provide you with some suggestions: name, age, country, timezone, jobs and hobbies, experiences and your second favourite dinosaur just cause why not. I would love to get to know you via video/voice chat and introduce you to the others Cheers, Jax
