Greetings and Salutations my friends!! Great adventures await you in the North. My name is Johannes and I'm from Germany (feel free to call me Jax or JD though). I am 22 and a student of mathematics with a passion for RPGs. I've been playing D&D 5e for about two years now and I'm looking for one or two new players for my weekly group on Sundays. My DM style is pretty much 50/50 of RP/combat but with an emphasis on roleplay first on foremost. I got into D&D through critical role and I'm running sessions very similar to Matthew Mercer's.  The game is somwhat homebrew. What I mean by that is, that I will play the plot of a module while changing stuff I don't like. I do NOT use the prepared module in roll20 cause it lacks in my opinion. Apart from that everything is normal and by the book for the time being although reflavouring is fine obviously. For character creation we roll 4d6 keep three and we roll in order aka no switching in between stats. Rerolling is allowed although we usually come up with an interesting character concept for you :) (thats the creation process Matthew Colville uses and me and my players quite like it, just give it a shot!) Besides that we are looking to not only meet up for D&D but rather build a friendship besides the session so we get the "group of friends playing stuff" feeling. We would like to play with voice and video in a longterm campaign but we understand that one might isn't comfortable with showing face to strangers at the internet. So what should you bring to the table? - be kind, respectful and overall fun to be around - have a knack for RP not just combat - looking to get to know nice and especially normal people (met some weird bunches around here) I play with veterans and newbies alike and almost 80% of my longterm players were actually completely new to the game and fell in love with it through me. Please, especially if you're new, don't be shy!! You still reading? Well, then you might just be a perfect fit. If you don't mind PM me with some basic information about yourself. I will provide you with some suggestions: name, age, country, timezone, jobs and hobbies, experiences and your second favourite dinosaur just cause why not. I would love to get to know you via video/voice chat and introduce you to the others Cheers, Jax
Jacob, 35, USA, PST, unimployed and RPGs keeps me busy, I've had 20+years of player experience and 10+years if DM experience, and the mighty Ankylosaurus is my second favorite dinosaur
name: Danny.C, age:20, country UK, timezone GMT , jobs and hobby: im an actor and I love fantasy, mythology and thing such as HP Lovecraft and gothic literature. experience: I played a bit of DnD before but that was a few years back so id have to re-learn the mechanics and in's and out's and my second favourite dinosaur is velociraptor.
I'm not interested in joining after reading through the post, but I wanted to let you know that you have caused me some distress with your question about my second favorite dinosaur! I've never even thought about that! so now, I have to go figure it out. (my favorite is the Apatosaurus)
Hey - unfortunately this game is an hour or two early for me but it looks great. Thank you for letting me know :)

My name's Love, I'm 19 and from Sweden (GMT+2), I'm studying through med-school atm, I worked at Burger King for a year or so but honestly I'd rather go pennyless, other than that I cook a lot on my free time and love writing, though I rarely have the time so dnd is my only creative outlet, which I've been doing for I guess 3 years now,  There is only one dinosaur, Baalsaurus, all hail his magesty Ba'al and may his right dentary guide us toward salvation. I don't really have a webcam on my computer, if that's a dealbreaker then I get that
Hey Jax, My name is Joe, 27 and from the UK. I've been playing DnD for around 2 years now after I feel in love with it almost immediately after my first session. I'm looking for a group after struggling to get a consistent time with my usual group to play. I love the idea of your character creation, it's one of my favourite parts of DnD just making new and random characters. One of the characters I ran in a friends campagin was fully randomised using dice rolls from XGtE. Outside of DnD I play football and basbeall when I'm not working, as well as other video games like Skyrim and Minecraft. And for my dinosaur, probably a triceratops, just after the mighty stegosaurus!
