Generic NPCs and Monsters

I did a brief search and didn't find what I'm looking for, so ... It is possible to create generic NPCs and or monsters and share them between GMs. For instance, two GMs are running a non D&D game and have created a half dozen creatures / NPCs each and they want to share them with each other, so that they each now have a dozen. Can this be done and if so, how is it done? Related note, can one create a 'monster manual' in this way? Thanks for any and all advice.

I think you could share them by giving edit permission to the monster and then the person wanting to use it in their game could move it through the character vault.

While I chose to be a Pro user for various reasons, I'm actually very new and have no idea about the character vault yet.
