Experienced 5e player and actor looking for a group

Hi! Lemmie introduce myself. My names Shauna, I'm 25 using They/them pronouns, though it isn't a big deal to me. I am currently on chemo so can be out of sorts a lot. Even so, I am looking for a group to play dnd 5th edition. I've been a DM many times and Player at least twice as much. As much as I like DMing I would love to find a game as a player for a change (as I'm running two games at the moment anyway.) Happy for whatever, but I am an avid role player, and will tend to stick to character as much as I can. I am from the UK so ideally a group from Europe is best, as although i dont sleep much, I'd like to at least spend I'm trying haha. I have played many games over many years as both DM and player so would be happy to teach or support other players including the DM. I'm very big on no meta gaming so I promise no leakage from me, and I'd prefer little to no meta gaming in game. I would also like to start a forum for the group (if there isn't already one) as I'd enjoy talking to everyone and discussing plot and schemes. I am happy using a headset and webcam to play and i do know how to use roll20, though only basically as I normally play physically. (Covid has changed that indeed haha) but I'm happy playing over messages or anywhere inbetween.  TLDR; Looking for group to play 5th edition Prefer playing a character but can DM Europe time zones if possible, but if timing works that's fine too. Experienced player and role player Happy to play with new players or experienced Happy to teach or support a new DM Prefer games with a good amount of RP Prefer little to no meta gaming Can use mic and webcam Wishing to use discord for inbetween schemes Prefer a group with only 6 people max (so 5 players plus DM at most)

Hello Shauna, I wish you luck with your treatment,  and I would be glad to try to help you escape!  I do not have 40 years of experience,  but I believe I am pretty good.  I have a Homebrew world with a lot of Classic DND Module stuff sprinkled in.  The setting is one of classic Fantasy.  I have a Game Page and  a Discord which you could check out.  Let me know if you are interested.  I have some interested parties but nothing set in stone yet.
