Trying to Find a Game

Hi, I'm trying to find a D&D 5e game to play in. I can play any day except Sunday currently. My availability may change, but that probably won't be until COVID-19 has disappeared from the world. I've listed some information about myself below along with a few character ideas that might be a good fit to your party: Name: Alex Age: 36 Time zone: Central Standard Time (CST) Experience with D&D and Roll 20: I started playing D&D about 17 years ago with 2e. I became a DM within my first year of playing, then would typically find myself relegated to the roll of DM. I never played 3e. I played one session of 3.5 and knew immediately it wasn't my system then fell in love with 5e as soon as it was released. I played through a few Adventurer's League modules at my local Adventurer's League location as well as running my own homebrew campaign which had to be halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm currently in one other campaign on Roll20, which is my first proper campaign on the platform, though I have played a couple of one-shots. I would have played more, but it can be hard to find a game to play in. About myself:  I am a huge Wheel of Time fan. I love the entire world Robert Jordan created. I love the action and excitement, (THE best action scenes in fantasy) but even more so the characters. Jordan uses a wide array of characters, many of who completely subvert the fantasy tropes by developing them into complex characters who are flawed and severely emotionally damaged who make mistakes while somehow remaining true to their archetype in every way.. Discord: I do have Discord and am happy to play in voice channel campaigns. I will provide my Discord ID to any DM who invites me to join their campaign. You can also message me with your if you want to have a voice chat before you decide to take me on as a player My characters: Human Life Cleric (of Bahamut) - Rhaegon Lalócë (Lalócë is elvish for "not dragon") A heavy armor wearing cleric who uses STR as his secondary stat. Rhaegon adheres to the virtues of Justice and Compassion. He is a tanky healer who can hold his own in melee combat. Tiefling Divine Soul Sorcerer (of Pelor) - Zerrus the White Zerrus is a delightful combination of a fire mage and healer. This character offers some delightful contradictions by being incredibly creepy, yet virtuous.  Elven Arcane Trickster - Taringill Talmanes Taringill is a new character I have been working on for 5e that is loosely based on a jester I used to play in 2e. I don't know much about him yet, as I haven't had an opportunity to play him.

This campaign setting is high mechanical (meaning there will be a lot of fighting), high exploring (great maps for people to explore which will lead to different planes of existence!), high magic (there is a magic shop and I roll off the treasure horde table!) and med role playing (role playing is highly encouraged but I understand that it's not everyone's strength). If this sounds like your kind of game... keep reading! Hello my name is Driz, not related to Drizzit =). I've been playing DnD for over 25 years. My hopes are to have a pool of players that are wanting to play a guild style campaign. Your missions will be picked from a mission board within the Adventurers Guild. There will be different styles of mission from helping the city with tasks, helping the kingdom, helping citizens of the land and randomly generated dungeons! All of these will be tuned to how many players are able to play that day (Minimum four - Max seven , I might raise the number larger adventures.) The idea of this setting is to have a pool of players that came come and play when they are able to. You can even re-roll whenever you want if that char gets boring or dies! Currently there are about 14 players and growing! You will be able to keep your character of course and play them as you wish, or make a new one if you get bored of it! All players have shared exp so people are more balanced when they come in to play! To help keep loot more even, dropped loot is pulled from a "loading screen" before you go off to a mission, unless you bought the item form the magic shop yourself. Currently we are level 8. We will be playing Saturdays 11:00 AM PST to around 5:00 PM PST Sundays from 12:00 PM PST to around 5:00 PM PST. (You don't need to be at both but can if you want to!). If this sounds like fun to you DM me for more info!
