Should I be using the new dynamic lighting or the old dynamic lighting? And If I use the new one on a page do I need to re do all the tokens to the new one or do all the old settings work? Thanks!
Use the old one for a game. The new dynamic lighting is for testing and experimenting. It's still got serious flaws, including revealing the whole page without warning. When you do decide to use the updated dynamic lighting, every token will need to be set up for updated dynamic lighting.
Agree the new system is working but the interaction between torch light and darkvision is rather jarring at present with the strange black feathering at the edges. I also find the ability to set the dim portion of the light great for darkvision in the old system. This gives the darkvision characters sight at distance but not bright making it more atmospheric. New system will be great when it's finished but for now, old one for me.
