[LFG] [Paid] [D&D5e] Two New Campaigns in a Homebrew Setting

Hello everyone, and thank you for your interest. I'm an experienced GM who's been running and playing TTRPG games since the early days of 3rd edition D&D. I've been running a 5e campaign for the past two years and I've decided to start two new campaigns to let others explore the world I've created and maybe make some money by doing something I love. Okaaran Nights Okaar City is the capital of a massive empire, and thanks to the way it draws people in from all over it has a feel that's somewhere between the acting scene in Hollywood and New York City in the Marvel Universe. There's always some supervillain trying to take over the world or a band of colorful criminals trying to rob banks and noble mansions, and it's up to the members of the Adventurer's Guild to stop them. The feel of the campaign will be a blend of superheroics and high fantasy, and the player characters will be working their way up from the bottom by taking on increasingly outlandish quests. On the Edge of the World This campaign will take place on the opposite side of the world from Okaaran Nights. The continent of North Kalagia has five regions themed after five East Asian culture groups and the five Chinese elements, and the story will begin in the Tibetan-style city of Tolgret. The player characters are exiles of various sorts who came to Tolgret from across the world, so unusual races and backgrounds are encouraged (including several human variants I developed based on Eberron's dragonmark houses). The campaign is likely to be more thoughtful and story-focused than the average game of D&D 5e, but where it will lead eventually will depend on what kinds of characters show up. Okaaran Nights is scheduled for Wednesdays and On the Edge of the World is scheduled for Mondays. The exact start time can be negotiated, but it needs to happen in the evening according to the US Central time zone. Sessions will likely last between 2-4 hours. I'd like to run each game with between 3-5 players, and if I can get enough interest then session zero will begin next week. The payment I'm asking for is $10 per person per session via PayPal, with payment due at the end of the session. However, session zero will be completely free since we'll only be setting things up and figuring out if the group and the campaign are a good fit for each other. If you want to walk away, I want you to walk away with no regrets. Both campaigns will be run with voice chat through a private Discord server, so please send me a PM letting me know which campaign you're interested in and what your Discord user name is so I can get you set up. Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. I have two people interested in Okaaran Nights, but I need at least one more player to get going.
I’m highly interested in both
Still interested in getting more players on board with both campaigns.
What day and time do you plan on playing? Have you started either campaign yet? What are your character creation freedoms? PM me!
New players are still welcome.
I'm always happy to see more people join these campaigns.
