Hello, everyone. Know this is a bit of a long shot with the scarcity of DMs that don't charge an arm and a leg for their games, but thought I'd give it a try. I have a group of three that would all like an opportunity to play as PCs together. I'm the main DM of my current group, running two sessions a week, and one other is trying out DMing for the first time these past couple weeks. Result is that while we all get opportunities to be PCs, we have yet to get a chance to be PCs in the same session. We're all RPers and lack a murderhobo, but also all treat the game mainly as an excuse to get together and just have a good time. We're usually pretty good at being serious in the moments that call for it, but are looking for a DM that can balance some kind of plot (it doesn't have to be epic and perfectly thought out over years, it just has to exist) with our love of just joking around from time to time. We don't want a paid game, as we're not looking for an employee, but for someone that will fit in with the group and also just wants to hang out and chill for a night over some D&D. Also would be totally willing to work with someone who's brand new as a DM, as we're all relatively new ourselves and understand that it's a bit of a learning curve. We're not the types to tear you apart for some mistakes. We're all EST and available mainly in the evenings except for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday when our current games run. We're also all adults and are looking for someone 18+. Not because we get super graphic or anything like that, but just because it would be more comfortable for us. As there are only three of us that would be looking to play, we're fully open to bringing another player or two into the game to round things out. Would also prefer homebrew, even one being made up as we go, to playing a module. The moment modules come into play, things tend to get unbearably rigid.
