
Hey there! A couple of friends and I are looking to get a roll20 PIRATE campaign going, drawing some inspiration from old adventure modules "Serpent's Skull" and "Skulls and Shackles." We're looking for people with interest in playing 2+ times a week, I'm open to GM all weekdays and am very flexible (EST timezone.) Only Friday evenings are out. Ideally we get a handful of really invested people who play consistently or a larger group of people to drop-in/drop-out when they have time. Here's some info about the campaign: Pirates of the Atlassands: life on the mainland is pleasantly stable, if crowded, and peaceful. However, the seas are filled with islands and archipelagos of wild untamed lands containing lost civilizations, hostile tribes, wild monsters, undead and best of all relics and treasures to be had. Different parties can explore different islands and ecosystems. "The godless isles" must first be explored, the means to survive and thrive must be made in a variety of strange and exotic environments, then the place needs to be pacified of monsters and peace (or conquest) of the natives becomes necessary. At the end, the island is given to a god or goddess (or not) that will make the island more habitable for followers of that particular faith, and the conquered islands become jumping off points for even further and larger island conquests.... You are a damnable Pirate! Time to plunder and fight other pirates for the treasures of a new frontier! CHAPTER I: "Souls for Smuggler's Shiv" The rickety flotilla called the "drowning maidens" has served as a mobile sea-base for the free Captains in the Fever Seas almost 20 years, but has been progressively sliding into disrepair from storms and age and salt. It's time to find an actual pirate cove -- somewhere infamous and secret, to run the drowning maidens aground and claim an island for the Free Captains. There are many prospects, but the Party is being sent to "smugglers shiv" -- once a great nest of piracy it was said the arrival of hostile cannibal natives, A curse falling on the beaches and aggressive fauna, as well as the dangerous reefs around the island itself, claimed one too many a ship. Storms have calmed in recent times so taking back the Shiv, acrawl with danger and dotted with the wrecks of previous sailing ships... is to be tamed by this brave crew of bloody pirates. The Drowned maidens give the party a Small Ship of their choice and they are to sail for smugglers shiv. Rumors of treasure, Undead, Tribals, monsters, and a strange spreading malignancy on the islands is just the start of one's worries.... IF INTERESTED IN JOINING...
