Music during games and data usage

Hey! I've been running some games lately, and I have to use my own cellphone data to do so. I know running music directly from the jukebox will use more data, but how about if I upload my own music? Will it use streaming data? Or does it stream without need of consuming more data, like stored images? Thanks!
Streaming anything has the potential to use more bandwidth depending on the load and the need to refresh that data. The only real way to tell, is to test running a game with out music vs running one with and compare the two to get an idea. While I am sure there would be an increase , how significant that is I'm not sure anyone knows. I am not aware of any raw data being posted in forums.  I think for most players use home broadband internet so there is not really a need to look at usage.

I believe that will consume data, at least the first time you play the song. After a full play, it might be stored in your browser cache (not sure of that), but it definitely will not play your original file that you uploaded, it will play the uploaded version that is on roll20's servers.
Thank you both!
