problem with players seeing handouts linked to character sheet

i built a character sheet in the manner of the youtube tutorial by Table Top Gaming, and all the handout links work perfectly for me. however, my player can see the links, but nothing happens when he clicks them. he cannot see the archived handouts i created. have i done something wrong? i followed the tutorial instructions exactly. the way it is supposed to work is, each link when clicked should bring up a handout that is linked to it. clicking "equipment" should bring up an archived handout of an equipment list EDIT: fixed it i think. another tutorial in the list said i had to make them "in journals" before players could view the links.

You have to set the handouts so the players you want to see them can, then archive them. If they are archived you can just set all of them to "all players can see", but keep the editing rights for yourself, so they don't break them playing with them, especially if they have tables...
