[LFG][pst online] dnd goblin with past experience looking for new adventure

Hello! I've been in these forums on and off and most recently fell into troubling times with my family and had to disappear for a while. WELL I'M BACK!! This time i am committed to the fullest in joining a preferably SMALL group of no more than 4 players. [i find myself drowned out in larger groups and unable to fully participate as a player when groups get too big]  I am familiar with 5e the most, but have played 3 and 3.5 as well as pathfinder homebrews [those however i'm am rusty to the max and will need hand holding] I am also more than willing to be a bright eyed bushy tailed noobie if you're willing to DM to someone on your own fav system. I am happy to learn. I am a pretty joyful person, i like to play different types of characters and I believe i bring a good energy to the groups i have played in. more about me: I'm 26 so im okay with more graphic games and I also like to rp and diplomatisize so i may be a bad fit for a more bump and grind setting. [HOWEVER, premade campaigns i am totally fine with to flex my muscles cause mechanics and basics are important to grasp! and battling monsties is...half...the...battle?] I have LOTS of free time but Sunday, Monday or Wednesdays are prime choice cuts of my time steak to grab up. A friend of mine is returning to DMing DnD and has a home-brewed world he is eager for us to play in. First session is this week, Wednesday 1pm BST/GMT+1, with sessions held hopefully every week. My friend has chronic back problems so will likely need to take weeks off once in a while. The campaign will be primarily Theatre of the mind, using roll20 for dice rolls, DnDbeyond for character sheets, and discord with microphone for voice chat. Having the beyond20 browser pl ugin would be recommended as this will allow you to just use a dndBeyond character sheet for your dice rolls in roll20. About the Game: The main campaign statement is "Humble Beginnings", so the DM is fine with what ever character concept you have as long as it fits within the following boundaries. The game will be RP focused, starting on a trade settlement called "Safehaven". We will be starting at Level 1 We currently have 3/6 slots filled with a Wood Elf Barbarian, a High Elf Cleric and a Halfling Bard. We would like each player to have a different class, and if possible a different "style" so that we don't step on each others toes. The DM stresses that you are to use PHB and Xanathars guide material only, as this is his first campaign in 5e and wants to keep it simple, having less books he needs to read. He also wants to work with you to flesh out a backstory, and wants to weave this into the narrative.
