Hello, I am posting on behalf of a friend and myself. We are looking to join a weekly long term game that either uses 2e or 3.5 - ideally a new game starting up. Weeknights would be preferred to weekends, but we could probably make weekends work if necessary. Ideal game time would be in the evenings, somewhere in the 6pm - 2am window, EST. We prefer games that lean more in favor of roleplay and exploration/investigation over combat. With that said, we certainly enjoy combat as well; it is just not a major priority. I personally have been playing D&D for only 2 years, my friend has been playing for upwards of a decade. We are both in our late 20's. To speak on one specific, if it helps your consideration: my favorite games are the ones where party members show an interest in RPing the ongoing development of trust/distrust, and by extension, friendships/rivalries between party members. When handled responsibly I feel this kind of thing can enhance the game considerably.
