Is anyone running a mid-week, evening (PST) game where rules and some basis in the laws of nature are applied? Where a fireball still fills a room with fire when it's too small to contain the blast, rather than allowing a player to place 1/2 of the spell within the walls? Where firing into combat has consequences (after all sharpshooter is there for a reason)? A game where DM's use the bells and whistles that Roll20 has to offer, plans his or her game and schedules sessions regularly, rather than checking in with the players to see if the game will go on this week? A game in which players are allowed to use spells and abilities creatively but not run rampant with them making them into super abilities more powerful than ever intended? A game where the players interact with the world like it's real, rather than treating each encounter like a scene from Monty Python's The Holy Grail? If so, please, pray tell, when and where is this bastion of hope occurring? And, what is the secret handshake to become a part of it?
