So after a long time looking into lore and collecting books and running mock games I have decided to start a PNP game. SO I have yet to plan what DAY this will be run but I will be using Roll20, its a piece of Browser software that makes dice rolls, RP and other things easy! I will also be using Google Documents to keep track of players and such things like ammo and exp. Here is the sheet I expect you to use, just fill it out. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AkyYJrWSC_KYdE43MFYxRC1qOVV2Y2JzNVRCNl83bEE#gid=5 If you need some help filling it out this program can help you: http://dragonlord132.tumblr.com/BlackCrusadeCharacterCreator If you still need help PM me, I will be happy to give you some pointers! Here is a sheet I filled out to give you an idea: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet...ZTYzd3TkhLck1Wc3B6Q1BMWHc&usp=drive_web#gid=0 If you wish to reply I will need a few things from you. Count your ammo, Each weapon you start with will have 3 clips, if you run out then TO BAD! find a way to replenish your stock or start swinging your chainsword! 3. The more people the more chance of death) Other Stuff: If you do not have a copy of the Black Crusade handbook I do have a copy on my drop-box, however I will only be giving that out to people who are in my game, so remember that! And like so many of the titles bestowed by the followers of the Corpse-God, utterly meaningless.” —Karnak Zul

Name: Skroth Timezone: East Coast USA Character sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlmgV... 40k Knowledge: Warhammer 40K Lore Nerd. Play the table top, just now getting into the Roleplaying games. Always preferred the universe over the actual miniatures. PNP knowledge: Plenty of DnD with simple house rules amongst friends, though I've watched a few youtube series of Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader. BIO: Verig Von Viscern is a young Human of twenty two years. He is a beautiful man, slender, tall, broad shoulders, long black hair and dashing purple eyes. He grew up on a poverty-stricken Hive World on the edge of the Screaming Vortex, in the depths of its foul Underhive. In his youth he had little talent or interest in pursuing anything beyond what he finds interesting or fun. Most of his days were either spent plucking at his Noisestick 5000 in front of a crowd still decent enough to tip or near some bit of machinery that's warm, with a women that hasn't succumbed to too many mutations, making love and talking about dreams, the universe, the wonders of what it would be like on a void ship, to live the life of a Rogue Trader. Or mayhaps the intrigue and importance of an Acolyte of the Inquisition! Of course, Verig can only hope to survive another day in the ruinous dark places under a worlds great Hive city. That is, till he met a particular women belonging to a little group of like-minded individuals that had sprung up down in the filth. At the age of seventeen, he was introduced to a budding cult dedicated to the Prince of Pleasure. Being of the charismatic sort, Verig was an instant hit, rising high through the ranks and selling more and more of himself to the Daemons that haunt the stone and iron halls he called his home. Eventually he found a position of power, real worth, real respect. He didn't have to steal his food anymore, new initiates brought him his nutrient pastes and fetid water. Yet this was all for naught, for soon his cult would explode after an order went out for the destruction of his world on basis of being strategically worthless, dry of all resources and rife with corruption and heresy. Luckily, after a long wash, stealing a bit of armor and nicking the ceremonial sword from it's alter, as well as his best friends prized Las Pistol, he was able to convince the local Arbites that he was, in fact, a man of the law and the Emperor, and managed to somehow make it away from the quarantined world marked to destruction. With the finest clothing he's ever worn, the comfort of a set of smart-looking armor, his hair combed fancy, the way he likes it, and a gun by his side, it would seem things are looking up for the poor boy made powerful by the life of a Heretic. However, soon those forces that had empowered him so would come to collect. Not only that, but the handsome looking kid with the silver tongue would soon remember that he stunk of the warp and any Imperial checkpoint with its salt would be able to detect such a thing as this. Thus, he dug deeper into his cover, pushing himself into the roll of lawman for two years till he found his chance of quietly slipping away under the pretense of 'special assignment'. Along with his Arbitas-turned-Heretic Minion Hans, he has wormed his way to freedom, his passions for heavy music, heavy drink and heavy women at last within his grasp, as well as a chance to return the favor to the Ruinous Powers that gave him a face amongst the featureless billions of Humanity.

Name: Ilushia Timezone: East Coast USA 40k Knowledge: Extensive? Owned most of the codexes from 2nd to 4th edition, familiar with a lot of the extended lore but never really got into the supplemental novels. PnP Knowledge: Lots. DnD, Dark Heresy, Shadowrun, FoE. You know me. Bio: Vela was born among the people of the Blood Moons of Talax, and is in many ways the iconic of their populace. Bloody minded and dangerous, with a bent towards personal perfection and mastery of arms. But, most of all, a devoted follower of their blood god who has left their home world seeking glory and combat among the stars after a prophetic dream from their god. While she has little personal hatred for the Imperium, they are perhaps the greatest challenge to overcome in the whole of the galaxy, and one which is worth fighting for that reason alone. Direct, straight-forwardness and honesty are important to her, despite her combative nature. Name: Ura or Tree(short for treeburner90 which is the name I go by on Skype) Timezone: Pacific Standard Time USA Character Sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai7WF... , https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ai7WFpnuYkuYdHZKcU1QYWhja2hmczViaWkyUlVlekE&usp=drive_web#gid=0 40k Knowledge: Extensive, I have read a good chunk of the Black Library books and have picked up alot from through time. However my focus is the forces of Chaos, so my knowledge on so say the Inquisition will be less then my knowledge on the history of the Traitor Legions. PNP Knowledge: I know Black Crusade like the back of my hand and have GMed several years of Black Crusade. I do have experience with all the other 40k RPGS, except Rogue Trader. Also am experience with Pathfinder and Vampire. Bio: I have two characters in mind. One is a CSM I know very well and like playing, but sense the CSM limit I plan to make a another character just in case someone else really wants to be a CSM. Runihura was an established assault sergeant veteran of the Thousand Sons legion. One of the first Prospero born Thousand Sons it was quickly discovered his ability for divination when he foresaw his families home being engulfed in an fissure. Recruiters quickly enter Runihara into the legion where is ability became far more powerful with Magnus's geneseed. His ability landed him in the cult of the Corviede, being taught by Ahriman himself to master his ability. Runihura though found sanctity in close quarter combat, as his visions seeming to amplify in the highly dangerous scenario allowing him to parry, dodge and counter with ease. During the Burning of Prosepero he lost his squad repelling a waves of Space Wolves, trying to protect a group of civilians. He was seriously injured after destroying a contemptor pattern dreadnought in close combat. going unconscious before the legion was telaported to the Planet of Sorcerers. He hated what Chaos did to the legion, as he saw themselves as the bright future for humanity. So when Ahriman said he had a solution to the mutation, of course he helped with the Rubric. How could his mentor be wrong? However he felt great guilt after the task was done, seeing it as killing the spirit and minds of his brothers. And to add insult to injury he was exiled with Ahriman and his bunch. Feeling guilty for his part in the Rubric, he is now determine to find a way to redeem himself to Magnus. Amon Gorebinoff is a shady man, with unkempt and dirty hair. Once was the son of a powerful noble family. He was spoiled and soft at that time, but most of all greedy. He started creating underground drug ring using the same chemicals in his families factories. The cartel became quiet powerful and his family did not complain as long he kept the money flowing and let no one hear of it. However a Slaanesh cult started contesting control from Amon, using acts of terrorism to state their power. Amon quickly hired the best mercenaries in the region and lead them himself in the cults headquarters and killed their leader. This attracted the attention of an Inquisitor. The Inquisitor blackmailed Amon into serving him, threatening to reveal his activity the other noble families and there fore ruin the reputation of his own family. So he join as an acolyte for the Inquisitor. During his time he grew reserved and introverted, an opposite to his life of nobility. He did not share his loyalty to the Emperor or the Imperium, wanting his old life back. The only reason he continue serving was to punish worshipers of chaos for which he blame ruined his life. One day though the Inquisitor gave Amon an mission that was obviously suicidal. Using his skills of stealth and espionage, he ran away. Now he roams the galaxy looking for any wealth he can gain, while hoarding what he got. Neither friend to Imperium or Chaos.

Name: Lewis R. Timezone: Central UK - GMT Character sheet: Azrell Xzerall 40k Knowledge: Relatively extensive, know more of the solid information rather than the specific stories. PNP knowledge: Mainly Black Crusade, extensive knowledge of the core Rulebook, less so for the Tomes. "I have seen a pain worse than you can comprehend, imagine having boundless power within your reach, only to be held back by the threat of death from those who see themselves as pure. Do you wish to see this power unbound?" - Azrell Xzerall, prior to the murder of Inquisitorial Acolyte Thrax Azrell, being a Psyker was quickly abducted by the Black Ships after his powers manifested at the age of 13, being torn from his family and everything he knew in order to be trained at the Scholia Psykana. He was always watched closely, as many of the scholars saw him as unstable due to the way his powers first manifested, that being a Telepathic accident resulting in the permanent insanity of no less than 5 civilians and 2 Arbites officers. Despite the protests of many others the powers at be decided to keep Azrell alive, for his extensive Telepathic power was too great of an asset to be taken away due to mere suspicion, believing that he could be taught to resist emotion and temptation. As it turned out, they were right about Azrell for the most part, the boy quickly developed a natural Psychic barrier around his mind and at the mere age of 18 of such magnitude the Telepaths selected to test his will found impossible to influence him in any way. Unfortunately for the Imperium, his will was not a product of faith in the Emperor, but a product of a single minded purpose, perfection of his mental manipulation. Using his mastery of Telepathy, Azrell managed to escape the Scholia Psykana by the skin of his teeth, alerting the local authorities but escaping with his life before his final sanctioning. To escape the eyes of the Inquisition and overall Imperium alike, Azrell found himself retreating to the Screaming Vortex. He does not openly worship nor praise the Chaos Gods, yet does not deny them either, so long as he can perfect his ability without the constraints of law or morality he is content. However, the dark power that is Tzeentch has begun to tempt him more than the other paths to power.

Did you remember to put it on public so other people could see it Rorschach? I can't seem to access it. Also, am I just taking it the wrong way or are Humans here meant to have 1500xp? Because I seem to be the only one who's done that.
Lewis R wow you got some unlucky rolls! anyway all slots are taken now! I am planning to run this game on a saturday or thirsday at GMT 0, I have all day on both of them so WHEN it happens is up to you.
I wouldn't say too unlucky, the overall score is just above average and I got good rolls where it mattered most. As for the days I don't really mind, although the next 3 weeks would be a little difficult on Thursday, after that I'd be fine with either of them.
Eh first three sessions are always slow, they build up the group and after that the game begins in full. So dont worry If you cant be in the session fully, attendance at all is a great thing!
I'm up for Saturday myself if Lewis is going to have trouble with Thursday, sometime in the PM would be cool, maybe around 3PM East Coast Time or onward considering my mornings are spent doing groceries and generally being productive hah
So you still looking for one more player cause finding a BC group is kinda hard (Or I may just be unable to find them)
Chris Sorry but if I take you that means six players if all the people show up, I will keep your name however If any of the other people cannot make it!
I may not be allowed in the game but I wanna ask one tiny thing. Why give normals 1,500 exp at start and then go so far as only allow one space marine? I mean, CSM are pretty balanced in the game if you look at them a bit. Normals get more gifts, faster combat speed, more weapons that are easier to get, more exp, and more starting lores of their choice. Sure, CSM get better stats but what are they gonna do with them when it takes 3 games to get a new weapon while the normals are already stockpileing titans?
The Thing with CSM's is they tend to get EXP faster then other classes, they are also hard as hell to kill, so they get survivability, I want my Human players to be in real danger of death, and that means they COULD die, if they do I want them to feel like they at least stood a chance compared to the Lug in inches thick armor.
The GM can just say "Hay, CSM get less exp from missions" and bam-boom-bam the exp thing is fixed seeing as there are no levels. The whole being hard to kill thing I can somewhat see but that is just another issue of the GM easily fixed by throwing tougher shit at the SM. Lastly, the normals (Cause other races are chaos not just Humans) have no fear of death in BC. A chaos worshiper would gladly throw himself in the thruster of a ship if it meant Chaos would rule. BC PCs are meant to be crazy off their rockers and be broken as shit.
Change the viewing access on my character sheets, people should be able to see it.
Sorry for being so nitpicky Rorschach but Runihura is an advanced Chaos Space Marine Archetype. That's a CSM with an additional 4,600xp. Normally it wouldn't be too much of a problem but since the rest of us are Humans with only an extra 500xp it would be horribly unbalanced, you'd be about the equivalent to all the rest of us put together.

Name: I go by Aegis or my real name. Timezone: UK time, but very flexible as I have an empty schedule barring the odd hospital appointment. Character sheet: Karma 40k Knowledge: Probably negligible, but a fast learner on interested subjects. PNP knowledge: Varied, but probably null. I've played many differing games and systems but I'm often confused by the mechanical sides of it. I have lots of fun playing. BIO: Not many ask her about where she came from or what her past was like but those who could get something out of her can sum it up simply enough: It sucked. Instead she keeps her mind on the present, because that's where the fun is. When she's not living for herself she takes on the duty of causing misfortune, but especially favoring physical and emotional harm. By her reckoning, if it happened to you, you probably deserved it.
