Need a MACRO wizard to make Critical HITS / Critical MISS for Classic Travellar.

I am running a TRAVELLAR variant in paper and pencil. Now that my group is using Roll20 I am attempting to keep it as much like my game as possible. I would like to add a CRITICAL HIT and CRITICAL MISS to my existing MACRO . ROLL TO SHOOT PERSON 0}*10 + ?{Meters Moved|0}*10 PENETRATES ARMOR 1d100 for a potential 6} damage to [[1t[HIT-LOCATION]]] My output looks like this... the first number is the "to hit roll" that needs CRITICAL markers (<6 is a crit hit and >94 is a crit miss) Scot H. (GM): . ROLL TO SHOOT PERSON 20 PENETRATES ARMOR 22 for a potential 132 damage to RT FOREARM
I already have critical hit and critical miss Tables

The critical success and failure highlighting will only work on the natural 1d100 roll, not on the modified roll. For example if you roll a 5 on the d100, then have modifiers of 10 and 10, your final result is 25. This will still be highlighted by Roll20 as a critical success as it only looks at the result of the die roll, not the final result. Is this the intended behaviour for your game? If it is, it's very simple, straight from the Dice Reference : replace your 1d100 roll with this. 1d100cs<5cf>95 Note that Roll20 reads < as <=, and > as >=, so I have changed the numbers to 5 and 95. If you want the result (25 in the example above) to be compared to your critical success/failure conditions, you will need a Pro account and API use, I'm fairly sure.

You might like to use a rolltemplate to make the readout more like a table. Try it out: &{template:default} {{SHOOT PERSON=0}*10 + ?{Meters Moved|0}*10}} } You could add a name as well, which will add a title bar, like &{template:default} {{SHOOT PERSON=0}*10 + ?{Meters Moved|0}*10}} }

You're welcome! Unfortunately the default template isnt customizable. We are stuck with the colours it gives us. You can make your own templates with the API, a Pro subscriber perk. I do think they should provide some simple color options for the default template for free users, but that hasnt happened.
